Every year at Christmas, I decorate my home, make scented candles, cookies, and marshmallows to give to friends and family. Sometimes, I visit flea markets to shop for unique furniture or clothes. How about you? Have you started preparing for Christmas yet? 🎄🍪🍭🛒
You make marshmallows for Christmas presents?? That’s so cool! I like to give homemade candy - usually it’s pralines and toffee but this year I’ve added soft caramel chews to the lineup. Some are vanilla salted caramel, and some are infused with chai spices 😋
I just discovered your channel and I've been listening while I work every day this week! Thank you for making such wonderful playlists with delightfully cozy artwork :)
I think you can start by recreating a few of your favorite drawings first. Once your drawing skills improve, you can explore animation techniques on UA-cam. The software I’m currently using includes Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere.
@@lavenderl1255 You can do that using Premiere, Final Cut, Logic Pro, Da Vinci, or likely any video editing software 🙌 including free online options, probably
@warmblankett I think you should know there is another channel called Golden Blanket that's copying you. They seem to be using different music but they're copying your video titles and putting similar art in their videos.
@@warmblankett You can click on their channel description and scroll down to report them for copying your channel 🙌 There is also a "Copyright removal request webform" to take down copies, but I think you'll have to submit one for every video tho...🥲
This channel uses AI art, as many other playlist channels do, but saying you are the one making the art is ingenuine - you're not making anything, you're just typing prompts
Hello, it seems this is the second time you’ve commented, and you also use AI, so I’ll explain how I create my work to help you understand why I don’t tag the drawings as AI-generated. First, I’m a musician, not a professional artist (though I’ve recently started learning to draw, and it’s been quite challenging for me). I sketch and color on Photoshop using a Wacom tablet. Afterward, I use AI with prompts, as you mentioned, to refine the lines and harmonize the colors (image-to-image processing). Most importantly, I always go back and manually retouch the lines and add effects to give the artwork a vintage feel. Finally, I animate the drawing for the video. Initially, I didn’t expect such support for my work, so I didn’t make many adjustments after using AI. However, a few viewers suggested that I try drawing more on my own without relying heavily on AI. Recently, I’ve been drawing around 80% of the pieces myself. The process remains the same, but now I draw over and add the details I love. For parts I’m unsure how to fix, I simply draw over them. I’ve taken many steps, not just typing prompts as you assumed. Thank you for reading!
Recently, I’ve been quite proud that I’m no longer as dependent on AI as I was at the beginning. Since you’ve commented twice and raised some detailed points, I decided to respond to you. As for others who just spam, I don’t want to waste my time arguing with them.
I think as a society we need to redefine what 'creating' art actually means in the light of AI becoming an unavoidable part of our lives. in the same way we may view performance art as different from fine art, it still was created by someone, an artist, who had a vision for what they wanted us, the viewer, to feel and experience. How is AI art creation any different? The artist is just using a different set of tools to create their vision to produce an effect for the viewer. I think warm blanket is doing just that, regardless of what tools they are using, they have created their own vision of a mixed media piece that we as the viewers can find enjoyable. When Bob Ross first started painting, he wasn't accepted into the art community because many thought his style of painting was cheating and not the correct way, yet no one would question that Bob Ross was an amazing artist. He just used a different set of skills and tools to produce something enjoyable. Learning how to interface with AI and "just write prompts" is a skill on its own and may very well be one of the most common and or higher paying jobs in the near future. It does take skill to have AI generate your vision. learning how to work with this new technology should be encouraged not stifled

@warmblankett thanks! How do you import the music into a video like this?

Thank you. Another viewer of mine sent me the link to that channel, but I don’t know how to make them stop copying. :(
