Ok I am crying. My husband just passed away June 1st 2024. He retired from the USA Army. We had two boys the oldest was born in Ft. Carson and our baby was born in Germany. I miss our Military life. I love this movie. Thank you for this movie

This was my first time seeing this movie. It was Great, Too. My Father was a WWII Veteran. He was wounded in Germany, which took one of his lungs. My Father married my Mom & had 3 daughters. My Father passed away in 1999 at the age of 75. He had a long illness due to his wounds. My Father loved his Country, the USA. He loved God, Family, and Flag. The VA Hospital & Doctors took great care of my Father, and He loved them too. I appreciate each military one and their Families for their services. God Bless 🇺🇸❣️❗️Merry Christmas To All.

My Heart is full of LOVE with this WONDERFUL movie❤❤ My father was a WW2 Veteran, a Marine. He was the Illinois Commission Officer, for VETERANS, For many, Mandy Year’s. Unfortunately he passed away February 16th, 2024 at the age of 96😢😢. We, and others, his vets he helped receive the benefits they DESERVE, Miss him desperately. This movie reminds me and many others of the dedication and love Dad had for all Veterans! He was truly a man of FAITH, GOD,COUNTRY and his FAMILY. SEMPER FI 💕🙏🙏
absolutely absolutely such a wonderful film. My mother hid two partisans on the run from the germans in her fathers flour mill where she was working...she was so so brave ,in 20's. One of these men finally got to thank my mother after 46 years, because she had left Italy just after the war...just like mr Murray, he would alwys talk and repeat the story to his family, WE WERE INVITED TO A SPECIAL DINNER WITH HIS FAMILY WHICH WAS FOR HIM A THANKSGIVING DINNER FOR MY MUM. yes this film made me cry. respect for all your soldiers past and present.
Im glad Candace moved from Hallmark to Great American Family to provide a more wholesome experience for the viewing public...including the world view of Jesus being Lord.
This has been my 1st Christmas movie of 2024, and what a blessing this has been. I love the Great American Family channel, and I'm thankful for Candace making the choice to go from the Hallmark channel after they went 'Woke'.

What a precious movie! I enjoy pretty much everything Candace Cameron Bure appears in, and this film is a wonderful example of why. The faith content is beautifully and unabashedly woven into the dialogue. There are also some outstanding performances (particularly from Anthony Timpano as Landon Southworth), highlighting a very special military-family storyline. I may have even gotten misty-eyed at least five times. Thank you Pure Flix, for this early Christmas gift!
I didn't mind seeing this again! Thank you for your service to all of OUR MILITARY! My grandson is in the Navy making his way back to Japan! I hope we will see them soon with his Navy partner and their little baby boy at least right after Christmas! They will be stationed in VA. My son did 13 years of Army. It took quite a toll after the 9/11. Merry Christmas all.
This is a Wonderful movie! I cried several times which is unusual for me. I also appreciate how they boldly talked about Jesus and how He was a gift from God to all of us! And how He gave us The Gift of Salvation by dying to pay the price for our sins! I also liked the way that Candace ( Nicole ) explained why we put stars on the top of our trees. I think this is probably the best Christmas movie I have ever seen!
What a wonderful Christian Christmas film honoring American military heroes. My wife's father died during a battle in Vietnam in which he saved several soldiers before succumbing to his multiple wounds.
I've already watched numerous Christmas stories and this one is huge different. I am not American but I also gave high regards to their Veterans and to our own Veterans as well.
*You know what .. My family is back in Hawaii and in American Samoa. Four of my uncles died fighting for this beautiful country of America 🇺🇸 😢. All the way from WW2 to Korea to Vietnam. And, I admire them all for all they've been doing for my country and for our freedom 🙌 amen. Their my hero's forever ♥️ 💕 💓 ❤️ 💖. Thank you, and marry Christmas. 🎄 ❤️

I met my husband thru a workplace collegue. At the time, I didn't realize I was introduced to the Love of my Life. ❤ I remember saying to myself ~ I could spend the rest of my life with him. 🥰 We were married just over 5 yrs until his passing. But I got to know what it truly felt like when someone loved you. I carry his love with me daily & it's been 19 yrs this November since his passing.
I love the sweaters. Nice way to refer to the sweaters as spirit sweaters, instead of "ugly" Christmas sweaters. From your Aunt Gracie. The turkey sweater, and the reindeer face sweater with the giant google eyes just crack me up.

As an "Avid Genealogist" who's proud of all my "Patriotic Brave Military Family Relatives & My Earlier Ancestors," (because by me researching my Ancestors, I've discovered that a lot of my Ancestors have fought in almost every WAR, from: The Revolutionary War (1775-1783); War of 1812; The Civil War (1861-1865); World War I (1914-1918); World War II (1939-1945); The Korean War (1950-1953); and The Vietnam War (1954-1975), and so on... And it makes "Me" very proud to know that a lot of my Ancestors, not only stood up for a cause - but, that, they were also Brave enough to Sacrifice their Time and their Lives, to Defend and Fight for my FREEDOM! And for that, a loving "THANK YOU" to All my Ancestors & Relatives, and to all the Brave Heroic Men, Women & Children throughout History "who have ever fought for my Freedom, and for World PEACE!

Great movie, military folks should be celebrated and compensated wayyyyyy more than they are…my dad died as an active marine in 1075, his death was directly contributed to agent orange and so the military paid my mom monthly until the day she died a couple years ago. I can’t tell you how much i would have rather have had my dad than a monthly check but what happened happened…., If u have served or are actively serving, God Bless you and Thanks for all that u do and have done!!!!

The acting in this movie is so good that I have watched it several times with a sense of watching REAL LIFE. It's rare that I, an old background extra, am not looking at how many background actors there are and thinking about the budget. But in this case, those can't be actors (can they?)--they have military personnel down! Actions and reactions so natural. It flows. Thank you to all who were involved in this production.
My father was a South African soldier in WW2... and he was in the the north of Italy! One day when he was on R and R in Milan, my mother cycled past him. He told me he knew instantly that she would be his wife..... from that day on he followed her, accidentally on purpose bump into her and got to introduce himself! They were married for 62 yrs when my father passed away. Two years later so did my mother! Gosh I miss them! Thank you for this movie!
Wow! As a wife of a retired USAF Master Sargent, I just love this movie! So many soldiers come home and have injuries or ptsd and feel like they have to handle it alone. I love showing that there is help for those who served. What a beautiful story! I am in tears!

That young soldier’s story broke me. Imagine serving your country and yet having to worry about how to support his family.

I think this is my 3rd or 4th time seeing this wonderful movie, im not ashamed to say the tear`s flowed just as much as the first time.

Great movie, military folks should be celebrated and compensated wayyyyyy more than they are…my dad died as an active marine in 1075, his death was directly contributed to agent orange and so the military paid my mom monthly until the day she died a couple years ago. I can’t tell you how much i would have rather have had my dad than a monthly check but what happened happened…., If u have served or are actively serving, God Bless you and Thanks for all that u do and have done!!!!

The acting in this movie is so good that I have watched it several times with a sense of watching REAL LIFE. It's rare that I, an old background extra, am not looking at how many background actors there are and thinking about the budget. But in this case, those can't be actors (can they?)--they have military personnel down! Actions and reactions so natural. It flows. Thank you to all who were involved in this production.

My father was a South African soldier in WW2... and he was in the the north of Italy! One day when he was on R and R in Milan, my mother cycled past him. He told me he knew instantly that she would be his wife..... from that day on he followed her, accidentally on purpose bump into her and got to introduce himself! They were married for 62 yrs when my father passed away. Two years later so did my mother! Gosh I miss them! Thank you for this movie!

Wow! As a wife of a retired USAF Master Sargent, I just love this movie! So many soldiers come home and have injuries or ptsd and feel like they have to handle it alone. I love showing that there is help for those who served.
