Seems like you do the same like me: Whilst approaching an intersection in gear 3 (or 4..5..), you use the clutch and brake/shift down to gear 1. I even do the same with driving a (stick) car. Most (experienced?) riders 'blip' themselves down to 1. How come you do it the 'infamous' way by not rev-matching?
I'm still trying to master rev matching and seldom engine brake. If I do engine brake, it's because I messed up doing the rev matching lol. But, I'll do perfect rev matching about 5x in a row and then mess it up on the 6th. I'm much better at it then I was a month ago though.
What mirrors do you have it on? It seems like it has better view than stock ones?
