After having a look to see what's on, I think I'm going to attempt to get the the Toy Fair at the NEC on Sunday 7th April. £24 on the train from Leighton Buzzard, and a tenner to get in....I think I can manage that, AND it's cheaper than going to London!

I've never seen the third hall open which confuses me because they have cars parked in there. They could EASILY make Stafford as big as, say, Doncaster if they wanted. I'm glad you mentioned Robbo Toys, he has some Transformers Aerialbots I need. Just so you know for future, the wifi code is on the back of the door near the entry desk. As you pay, if you spin a 180, its there.

It’s been great jumping down the rabbit hole and learning about the anime where Dragon King Dolga comes from.
Definitely agree about the early bird, I was in at the start of normal opening at Doncaster and it did get quite busy quite fast and like you say at the start it makes it harder to have a good dig around if you're stood at a popular stall and the gangways are tight. You must have started early doors to be aiming for an 8 start, fair does!

Was good to see the Jurassic park figures! I had all of those that he had on that stall. Unfortunately I don’t have the action figures of the dinosaurs but I still have the little metal figures of the dinosaurs that was on the left side. Out of the box and without the cards now though. Your right it does look like a smaller area so feels crowded quicker. Shame they moved it from the NEC. Why did they move it? Sorry you had that with your camera, like you said write it off as a bad experience and try on focus on the next thing, it’s great that it ended with meeting the guy with the figures you want and he let you have them. Just saw a video from Ed’s retro geekout which had that as one of his grail pieces he hasn’t tracked down yet. Ugly as sin that thing but a damn fine piece to add to the collection.

I imagine the low ceilings stops air circulation, so that adds to the stuffyness. It's why I stopped going to London film and comic con. Too many bodies in not enough space, and in summer as well.
I'd have seriously been tempted with the carded Madballs head poppers even with the steep price,and I would have got them out just to see if the heads were as sticky as I remember them being.👍👌

3:09 - Still waiting on a pro review of this item, i have two of them already so suprised the big Pixel hasnt featured it yet on his channel. Everyone i have seen (4x) so far has the bandolier fitted upside down, great looking figure but the fitment of that piece (The bandolier - too tight) has some issues on what is otherwise a solid figure.
Always confuses me why they don't use that 3rd hall fr more stalls. I couldn't make that one as I threw my back out so it was a bit of a crap start for me too that day so couldn't go. Keep up the good work pal.👍
Enjoyed the video. Only thing i would say is that the title of the video suggests that the toy fair was the worst you have ever been to, suggesting error on their part. Maybe just say 'Broken Camera!'

I’ve watched 16 minutes and you made that dude really happy with the figure you made him. Thus getting yourself some free mini figures as a result. Sometimes it's worth raiding an event that's focused on trains or whatever, people always have unrelated stuff to sell off. I once went to a train fair and picked up a couple of carded Cyborg Cybonators sets for £30 the pair! Result! And don't mug yourself about having a shit day, it happens to everybody sooner or later, nobody's on top form all the time and not every event's great. Swings and roundabouts, isn't it? I'm always having problems with tech and I panic and it always turns out to be something dead simple I've missed because I've panicked! These are the breaks... 😂👍

3:09 - Still waiting on a pro review of this item, i have two of them already so suprised the big Pixel hasnt featured it yet on his channel. Everyone i have seen (4x) so far has the bandolier fitted upside down, great looking figure but the fitment of that piece (The bandolier - too tight) has some issues on what is otherwise a solid figure.
I got one on pre-order so mines not arrived yet, looking forward to when it does though, hopefully with a right side up bandolier!

Sometimes it's worth raiding an event that's focused on trains or whatever, people always have unrelated stuff to sell off. I once went to a train fair and picked up a couple of carded Cyborg Cybonators sets for £30 the pair! Result!
And don't mug yourself about having a shit day, it happens to everybody sooner or later, nobody's on top form all the time and not every event's great. Swings and roundabouts, isn't it? I'm always having problems with tech and I panic and it always turns out to be something dead simple I've missed because I've panicked! These are the breaks... 😂👍
