Duuude! This is awesome Theo! I really like how the vinyl adds to the shiny effect and makes it look more gooey and slimy. Just wanted to say gratz on the new vinyl and really appreciate you getting me into the Sofubi scene. Between you and this guy VideoVomit, that I run into a lot when I'm in a certain Milwaukee vintage toy store, I'm hooked. xD
Oh yea, btw that spray template is such a good idea. I was thinking that as I watching, but more of a cardboard thing. Didn't even realize you could get metal molds.
Impressive stuff, as always top quality production value. Hand painting the figures gives them that air of quality and uniqueness thst factory painted cant give.
Late comment but just wanna give my congratulations to you Theo, 15k Subscribers and now with these cool projects which are clearly successful. Well done buddy, I can see you with that coveted Sliver Playbutton soon 👍
Morning I was watching this with a massive smile on my face, so god knows what you must of been feeling, Big time well chuffed for you dude.😊 Be safe be seen
Wow that was really cool and interesting theo! I do love Rome, been twice now, one of my fave places I'd say. I will be following vega after this, his stuff looks amazing! A lot go work went into this trip I could tell lol
So excited that you shared this process! Out of curiosity, what was the monetary expense in getting 50 pieces fabricated? Maybe a follow up video could be produced, breaking down the expenses for folks interested in pursuing sofubi design?
Outstanding dude. So pleased for you mate, really I am! I’m sure these are gonna fly out, I’d love to stock a few of them for you but don’t think they will hang around long enough for that. Do make sure I get one though - pennies waiting ;)
Yoooo, the quality on this shoot has surpassed anything you’ve e ever done on slime house UA-cam. New camera or just even better editing? The quality you usually put out is high, but now it’s something else, bro.
Same camera, same everything man, maybe the change of scenery just made it feel a bit more grandiose. 😅🙌 I was also worried that a lot of this looked boring as I didn't have a cameraman and had to do a lot of tripod shots filming myself, glad you think it slapped!
Any chance you can set some aside for your Patreon supporters? Wink wink…. I keep missing the Turgore’s. I need a figure to go with my print. Look great dude!! Happy for you
Ah man they look so good, awesome dude, still love the graffiti art in studio, them colours pop, I was into graffiti art back in 90s in Chesterfield, we made a basket ball court out of a old tennis court and streetballed it up with graffiti art, its now since been demolished and turned into a car park.
Ahh,,,I wondered what this was! Spotted you walking around the NEC with it on Sunday, and by Toys are Russ's stall. I thought it was an oversized giant Madballs Head Popper!
Completely late to the party, amazing project. Gonna be turning 50 soon, grew up with Japanese toys before eventually becoming a collector of Japanese vintage and modern toys in my late teens (when stuff were still for the most part affordable!). Seeing the amount of work that went into such a project was truly eye-opening. I realise now that I shouldn't complain about the prices of these neo-vintage pieces of arts. Was curious as to how much it went for, clicked on your link but the page was gone. Kinda sucks, but I really hope it was a success. Especially after seeing how much love went into that beast (reminded me of one of the original Doom monster, coincidence or not? I haven't played it since the 90's so can't remember its name, the flying head thingies).I'd love to create a robot vinyl, but aside from the design, by myself , I wouldn't know where to start 😂. Anyway....apoligies for the rambling. All the best from France ( spent 30 + years of my life in Britain, but I'm now over the channel) . Hope you continue collecting and creating.
The term sofubi comes from soft vinyl which japanese shorten to sofvi and when they say sofvi it comes out as sofubi with there accents. Japanes people do call every soft vinyl toy a sofvi but collectors only call japanese soft vinyl sofvi or sofubi usually. Its the same way as in japan they call every cartoon an anime because the word anime is just the word animation shortened to anime but with anime fans they only call japanese cartoons anime. In a way the collectors have added a new meaning to a generic japanese word. It can be confusing to anyone that doesnt understand

Hey, glad you like him! there are two sets of 25 (ISH) that have been made, and are not available to buy or order yet, but keep posted on my socials and as soon as I have more info I'll let everyone know
Hey THEO was asking about any sticker's , but I am in CANADA ...lil far to attend and SUPER EXPENSIVE to travel sadly...Would you ever go to a JAPANESE Company to produce your toys ?? Thank you jason
@@flipmostyles2583 I understand! Sofubi costs thousands to produce, especially on a small scale like this. And I get that it's not for everybody. I do plan on releasing some smaller less costly stuff in the future though so definitely stay tuned for that :)
@@slimehousetv yeah i understand, i have a few ron english sofubi, and i am trying to get some from maxtoys also. i really wanted to add one of yours to my collection but sadly atm its way out of my price range. hopefully once my cash flow is better you still have some stock but i doubt it.
There is sofubi for any type of collector and price range. The mini sofubi can be as low as a few dollars so anyone can collect them at what ever price they can afford
Hey brother I've been trying to find a old Japanese robot he looks like the saturn robot but he has doors covering the screen from 70 to 80 I belive can you help
Now if only you could make them affordable i love them but have so few because 200-400$ pre orders for a nicely sculpted painted statue with little to zero articulation these prices have boomed tou could pick up storm, hot toys, s.h. figuarts, hiya toys, hell even mezco.... hoping one day the market crashes hard and i can scoop up yalls collections... im very patient... now initaite the "your broke" comments i have no way to prove to you im not lol im just cheap....
Unfortunately it costs thousands to make Sofubi so they are usually priced pretty accordingly considering how low-run numbers they are made when it's independent artists and companies making them 👊
@@slimehousetv yea when they mass produce or go full corporate that's when I'll be all in, not that I don't appreciate artists hard work, and the pieces produced are beautiful, but I don't appreciate it enough to spend nearly 500$ a pop like I said I'm cheap....
