Materials:
Book (L x W x H) = 9’’x 6’’x 2’’
White Pencil
Rubber band
Craft knife
Cutter knife
Extruded polystyrene (L x W x H) = 9’’x 6’’x 2’’
Marker pen
Electric foam cutter (Use mask while working)
Compass (to draw arc)
Scale ruler
Balsa Wood 3 mm thick
File tool
Hot glue gun
Air hardening modeling clay
Acrylic paints matte
(Black
Sepia
White
Yellow ochre
Orange)
Paint brush
Mod podge matte or PVA glue (White glue, Elmer's glue)
Moringa leaf powder

Cool stuff, I really like the sculpt, but instead of destroying a book.... I mean you had the shape already in the foam.... just sculpt it to LOOK like a book... I think the novelty is lost when you can't open the book anyhow. Seems like a waste.
I was disappointed when the Scioto wasn't made from the pages. As you just said they could've just sculptors it to look like a book

Although the final product is really nice, I was expecting the entire sculpture to be carved from the pages of the book only.
