Funny he says it's a great sign for someone to die on a feast day because my mom just passed on June 24th, the feast day of Saint John the Baptist. She was a lot like him, big mouth that always defended Jesus lol
@5:11>> There is a symphonic poem by Rachmaninoff titled *Isle of the Dead* which is a musical rendering of a haunting painting by Arnold Brockin which, If you might, Go look/see. ~~~while doing so, you might~~~ (imaginatively) See the Isle as St. Hyacinth saw it in his approach. It is likely that he felt the same grim foreboding in his approach as the music and the painting conveys. Just a suggestion.
Dear Lord... please stop the commercials or at least place them in the beginning or end of video, (all together). They come on sooo loud and practically ruin the content. And I know Steve probably doesn’t realize how disturbing the is. But please. I just don’t listen if they’re sprinkled with yellow segments.
If Protestants were reading at least some of the miracles worked out by our saints, (many are more astonishing than what is documented in the Bible, yet all of them knew it was God working through them, among other things to glorify them as well), they would have humbled and stopped making their own churches, at the slightest blessing given to them by our Lord without even recognizing it as an invitation for entering into His own Church. But devils easily derail them and soon enough God withdraw the invitation as well for their own peril.
@mathew i wonder how much you know and undarstand the Bible🤔. It’a funny how, for your point of view or belief, your saints are more important than Jesus. Do you know that Jesus is the only way, the Sheperd, the High Priest, the head of the church and OUR SAVIOUR? I am sure you know that Jesus died for you so you can have eternal life. So i would recommwnd you to focus on Jesus and His teachings and forget about these people who are called by others “saints”. Even if they were saints, we still should never pay attention to them. They will have their reward from God, if indeed they lived their lives according to God’s will. Read romans 12:1
@@numbers6246 We live (not read) the Faith, that necessarily includes referring, praying and meditating to our guide/child/product the Bible and everything else all other saints (besides St. Mathew or st. Paul etc)have written, simply because the same Holy Spirit worked through them. Unlike your leader Luther, who couldn't integrate even the whole Bible to fit into his story line, we can integrate all these revelation and traditions plus whatever God continually gives through His church established under a headship to pour out the graces through His only Holy Spirit, because we see through the Bible the Omnipotent God and summary of His salvation history and His written words, not just a namesake god confined to a book as if he is a concept or worse an ordinary man like Calvin. As an advice, use the God given ‘gift of belief’ in believing The Truth, not just some concept.
@mathew according to what you just said, i believe that Jesus must have been a fool when said that life eternal is to know the only true God and Jesus Christ whom He sent john 17:3. And i do have a question: Mary was born sinless?
@@numbers6246 The problem is that ‘claiming to know‘ doesn’t mean knowing (and believing in heart) and the fact is that without Holy Spirit no one can believe in Him! (cf. Scripture). Now the problem is that the only Holy Spirit is unlike the spirits of the world/Hell and cannot be downloaded as we please. God has to give it, for that He established His church with a headship, besides giving appropriate tools/graces as and when required to especially to ward of the evil spirits in their journey of life. I can’t be a private tutor, considering the accumulation of errors in Protestants, but I just comment two aspects about your query of Mary. One is dogmatically, she has to be because God stayed in her womb for 9 months, and God is the Holiest of all Holy and sinless. Omnipotent God can simply make anything included some one sinless. He didn't do that for others simply because that was not ‘His plan’ for giving salvation to mankind. Second. He gave His church the authority to bind and loose on earth so that He binds and looses in Heaven. Not “vice versa“ simply because man cannot (even if fully able to understand God‘s message) faithfully follow Him, but God can do anything. That just shows how loving He is and How serious He is in covenants and promises. It follows that all what was ‘appropriately‘ decided by His Church becomes “the truth“. Infact that is the reason why even Holy Bible is fully true, simply because His Church considers it so and God make sure in ‘His working‘ nothing violates it. That is also a reason why Papal Infallibility is a truth. Hope I helped. I strongly suggest you use Mary to find who the true Jesus Christ is simply because that is what God intetented to prevent all the heresies of different Jesus Christ (and different gospels) being preached, simply because all kinds of humans can make sense that a mother is best to identify her child. Trust me, if you can, the rosary is a “miracle” prayer, I strongly recommend and the Heaven will guide you to the Truth.
@mathew thank you for you reply. I have considered everything you said. Now there is a question: if Mary was sinless, why she said in Luke 1:47 that God is her saviour? Don’t you need to have sin in order to have a saviour?
Because God is not bound by time, but it was determined from all eternity that Our Lady's Assumption would be on her day and it would be a foreshadowing similar to the way the Old Testament foreshadowed the New Testament. He honored her by dying on the Assumption even before the rest of the world did. What intimacy! How beautiful!
Happy feast of Our Lady of Knock everyone ❤🌹🕊

How could he die on the Feast of the Assumption if it wasn't a doctrine until the 1800's?
