From what I understand, because I haven’t personally read it, the Animal Farm book is about communism. And more so the sociopolitical aspects of it than the economics. I’ve only experienced Bibi peripherally when she has featured on songs. Typically that means she is rapping, so this song is a delight due to the flexing of her vocal abilities. She has a great and, dare I say, unique voice.
Fun fact: the '54 animated film version of Animal Farm was secretly funded by the CIA. No joke. That should tell you all about its "insights". Or, I guess, you could look into who George Orwell was, someone who presented as a "radical" and "leftist", but snitched on his "comrades" to British intelligence, for reasons as varied as homophobia, antisemitism or simple, personal dislike. The veneration his work gets is utterly beyond me. But I guess anti-communism is always going to get clicks. It's a bit of a weird title to go for, because the aesthetics of the, for lack of a better term, "pig party" happening here are much more bourgeois and capitalist, so I don't think the people who made this are aware of the history of Animal Farm as a work either. It's purely aesthetics for shock value as well, so there's that. At least, as you say, we get some singing.
I read the book a while ago lol there are some very literal reference with the pigs in suits, which I think was the very last scene in the book. I’d love to read about the incorporation of the story vs the MV and lyrics!
Correct me if I am wrong because it's been awhile since I read Animal Farm but as far as I remember it wasn't about communism, more so the co-opting of revolutionary spirit of the people into Stalinism, which seems to be what the book was digging into. Either way it's a very well done song and I appreciate Chill wookie's reaction to it!
@@rizon98 Per Wikipedia, “Animal Farm is a beast fable, in the form of satirical allegorical novella, by George Orwell, first published in England on 17 August 1945. It tells the story of a group of farm animals who rebel against their human farmer, hoping to create a society where the animals can be equal, free, and happy.” Can’t say if you are right or wrong. I will say though that Stalinism is an off-shoot of Leninism, which is an off-shoot of Marxism.
the mv on her official BIBI channel has subs now. ua-cam.com/video/hVLRky1hGfk/v-deo.html such a great prerelease for her upcoming 'lowlife princess' album. hope we get a release date for that soon.

I just love how you sometimes look so smitten with bibi, whether by her looks or by her vocals.
In a class of her own.

@@chillwookie Me too. After seeing her breakdown on a livestream a while back I’d say she has some not so nice opinions about the idol industry.

Bibi so fine... Her videos are always mind boggling. And this one seems to take the cake!
The MV is out of focus !
Because the MV is too graphic I believe
im pretty sure its bc of copyright issues
@@blankazsosa669 no because it is a age restricted mv that is why she blurred it even if she blur it she will still get the copyright so..
wtf that was a man?
