  • Another day another ebike, this time it is a sweet little lightweight stylish folding commuter from Engwe.
    With it being single speed I was worried about its performance up hills but I am happy to say it performed well above my expectations.
    It has a sleek design and the carbon belt drive offers a silent and smooth affair.
    I rode over 30 miles on hilly and rough terrain and this little beauty really done me proud. Apart from the seat, the seat sucks.

    What a great wee bike and the usual no nonsense review. But the stand out part for me was the beautiful countryside and babbling brooks, the I.O.W. s the star in this video, with the bike coming a close second. ATB Big Dave

    Sounds ideal for a commuter who needs to cycle to a station, sit on the train into town, then cycle the rest of the way to work. Stash it away at work and get a cheeky charge in ready to do the return journey. Its lighter weight compared to the fat-tyred folders from Engwe sounds like a big plus.

      Great little commuter Bonnie, surprising torque up the hills. Done really well for a single speed

    Has anyone invented a bike with a built in pump for the inner tubes. As an alternative to a hand pump. A pump cylinder built into the pedals with a standard hose to the tyre valve. Pump powered either by EV battery or just manually pedalling.

    Any idea how you can enable the throttle please?

    • @Nobby77
      @Nobby77  3 місяці тому

      Twist throttle and hold brake while off, turn on while still holding for about 8 seconds

    Is it Vegan and Wroxall friendly Nobby?

    • @Nobby77
      @Nobby77  4 місяці тому

      I wouldn't take it up Down Lane, and the locals may think it's witchcraft. I reckon a vegan would survive a full steam coming together but more importantly so would the bike

      You are either brave or stupid taking it down the mean streets of Lowtherville. Even the street dogs go around in pairs up there. Take Bramble head for your security detail.

    Them bikes are useless if your over 11st the motor are not capable of carrying a bigger person iv had two they both packed up no torque and that's without using the throttle mode I want a bike with reliability and they just don't give it

      @Nobby77 I don't know how you use your bike nobby but I like to do 25 miles a day or there abouts and that's on just the pedal assist mode now when everything is working well its great it's just what I need , now on the first bike I had I HD 14 broken spokes in total which caused other problems so I got rid of that bike for a more sturdy one with alloy wheels and everything was great for a few months then it started problems with the motor I had to replace the entire wheel which took over a month to come and now I'm having the same problems with the new one
