      Hi Fazil. You will have to speak to customer care or service center. They will reset.

    After this procedure, my UVO is bricked and although its activated in phone but in car it asks me to active it , also VIN is not available in modem information. Please help. GtX model.

      Reset is done in vehicle entertainment unit. No need to add vehicle. App should be configured prior

      Current data which are updated will be in cloud so no data will be deleted. The data which are not updated gets erased. Good day

    I have the same issue but after following your step I can not resolve my UVO issue. After following the steps I am not getting the factory reset option at all. Any other way to reset??

      Yes bro I also have the htx petrol version. I reached the last step but there is not Factory Reset option. When I try to scroll down, nothing happens. There are only these options - Diagnostics, Location, Media, Radio and Smart Pure. 😓

      You can ask your dealer to upgrade the UVO app version, which will resolve ur issue. I got it upgraded from my dealer and it works fine now

      In my opinion has to be done my customer care. I think it cannot be done from the car unit. The mapping is done is backend database

      Note sure Sandeep. If it's your new registration then ensure your records are updated. Else it could be networking issue. Suggest to check with Kia workshop guys.
