MK1 Meta is in a weird place right now and I'm trying to present some variety on this channel so I've decided to not show anymore Matches of Raiden/Baraka. As a Shang main. I find it crazy that a grapper is also the best zoner in the game.
Right? If I’m fighting a zoning Reiko my only option as Shang is to morph into Reiko to zone back. That’s insane

hey man, thanks for inspiring me in becoming a shang main! tbh the second f3 into syringe is impossible to me atm lol but i've been trying my hand with him and motaro thanks to you! you're a great player and it's nice losing in a zoning standoff to the grappler and the best zoner in the game lol

Reiko is one of the most difficult matchups for everyone ... He zones yufrom afar builds meter with the zoning... You finally get in Mid command grab for two bars into darrius for 50 percent..
You need to trade with him and when you get in always poke special away from comman grab range or you are toast ....
Reiko was made for Scrubs..
Zone from afar command grab upclose and make your opponents salty...

When you block their down 1 i think it makes more sense to down 1 them after, since its free, and it puts you at 12 frames of hit advantage compared to 8 frames from just blocking and going into your string. Thats how ive been dealing it with it anyways
Sometimes I do that but often I'm just falling back into old habits. Has to come naturally over time I guess but thanks for your advice!

Have you considered trying to use Shujinko as a support? Would be soo cool seeing both Shang and Tsung steal the opponents moves haha

Players like this reiko are why I’m taking a little break from the game, this guy might be good at whatever game he’s used to playing but he’s trash at mk it’s not like some of those skills won’t transfer though it’s just so frustrating fighting spammers at high ranks who still don’t even understand the basic fundamentals
It can be frustrating to say the least I'm also taking little breaks here and there it helps :)

doesnt mean you only use 1 move every game ? I zone sometimes for a short period but the fun of the game starts and ends in neutral
I noticed a lot of drops on your BnB Combo. Was that due to lag?
Lots of things but lag is a major one. I can do them eyes closed offline

so the kung lao teleport extends combo like motaro? cuz I see the damage restarted
