The population of Weligama area is less than 10,000 from what I read and this city is well known for its surf.
From custom-made clothing to unique souvenirs, the tailor shop is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic Sri Lankan experience. The lady was so nice and I will definitely go back if I need some more clothes to be fixed.
The turquoise blue air force plane was quite the experience and it was cool to see such a remarkable aircraft with lots of history randomly on the side of the road.
Calling all foodies! Our next stop takes us to a local eatery that serves up the most delicious and spicy egg rolls you've ever tasted. Watch and enjoy my pain next to the railroad tracks! Majority of the Sri Lanlan people I would say 80% to 90% are good, kind n helpful. But don't get caught to the rest of the 20% to 10% crooks. Locals will always protect the foreigners so don't forget to ask for help if needed.

Ex US veterans in Vietnam war era always wants to refresh that experience when they were at 19, ni ni ni nighteen.

I was eagerly watch this video bcs of lady tailor repair work of you T Shirt. She did it very well though it was a very hard one and charged just Rs. 300/= , later reduced the price back to Rs.. 200/= . What a good lady she is. I am a Sri Lankan lives in Australia, for this type of work, we have to pay over AUD 20.00 . Price was incredibly cheap. Visit Sri Lanka and enjoyed luxury at a affordable price.
She was such a very lovely and sweet lady who was happy to help me :) she got a great tip. I was very thankful for her service
