Hey, I’m currently loving my ft6 pro 65 flex P28 and need a backup for next season I really want this stick because it has a hole in the blade but what would you recommend as my backup? Love the newest content as it is so funny and true carry on being amazing and being the only honest UA-camr!,
Thanks appreciate that. No I do not recommend the sling. It’s been quite sometime since this came out but everyone is in agreement it was a huge miss. Much better sticks out there for a back up. Thanks for your support
Hey man, I was thinking about buying this stick and I got the FT4 instead. I think your review was awesome. I hate the people saying that you are bad at hockey and your skill is bad. I think you're pretty good. Have a good Day!
Lol if 91 goals in 63 games is bad I dunno what to say. In the end my reviews are because I buy all my own gear and test it all back to back. No one else does so I feel my opinions are more accurate than most. You will be happy with the Ft4 over the sling immensely. The sling was way over hyped and not a great real world result.
Yah but it’s hot garbage shooting. Huge gimmick and terrible but it’s marketed well as all Bauer influencer itrain hockey, swaggey p use it in every vid
I agree completely. Same with gloves. After the 1s and 1x lite gloves all their gloves just suck. I’d never use the ultra sonic/2x gloves. They keep cutting corners.
What flex and blade are you using? Curious What if you get higher flex stick combined with the sling tech? If the flex is low it’s counterintuitive. Otherwise great explanation from your experience.
Hey there, using an 87 and p28. Interesting take going to 102 flex which is retail may be to stiff and the blade may have trouble at that point further
@@AlanenJ the whippier flex could improve the sling. I found 87 very stiff and hard to load. The shaft couldn’t load and the blade did all the work. I’m 200 pounds as well so I think you’re right with the 70. Probably helps a lot
@@beerleaguebumhockeyreviews ahh very true. See the thing is that the ADV I love and it’s great for everything. I used a 2N Pro for a long time and now it’s my backup. So my rotation is ADV and then 2N Pro as a backup. So I feel if I were to let’s say buy another Bauer between the GEO and the Sling I heard that the GEO is actually better. As for other brands I have a CCM Jetspeed FT3 (pro stock) from Auston Matthews and then a Warrior Alpha DX.
@@micallefproductions5680 don’t disagree on the geo. It’s better despite the blade being the selling point of the sling. The goes blade works better with the kick point. I also enjoyed the ft3 pro did a review on it but it’s not durable At all and gets expensive to keep replacing
That’s the challenge with these high end sticks. It’s 370$ and if you don’t like it kind of a bummer. But it’s the risk you take which is why I’m posting reviews to try and help make the purchase easier
Haha, fun hearing a beer league player who can barely stand on skates ranting the shit out of Bauer sticks. Talking like about the Hyperlite as if it's a bad stick when the majority of all the proplayers are using it and loving it. I am currently using the Sling and had the GEO before. Just feels like an upgraded and lighter version, my shots are harder and I've got better control of the puck. You shouldnt be saying stuff like this when you barely know what sport you're playing lol.
Sticks are subjective. It’s my review. You didn’t enjoy it. All good. But chirping my skill when you have a couple clips of me scoring in everyone of them is odd. I lead my entire beer league in scoring. Every year. So despite what you say the results are there. The joke is beer league bum as we just a bunch of amateurs who play like we in the NHL and take it seriously. But thanks for the feedback! It’s all for fun
Also love how a couple toddlers who don’t actually know what pros use are complaining about an honest review from someone’s perspective. The pros you refer to have sticks so augmented from retail the only similarity is the paint but nice try
@@adamca96 appreciate that. So true Kane is the spokesperson for the hyperlite to sell them he doesn’t use it and those who love stick specs and pros pickiness know he uses an original total one since the dawn of time. Pros definitely aren’t the ones to look at for what is or isn’t a good stick you just dunno what they actually using. It’s all good though if people don’t like my reviews don’t have to watch or take the advice on the product. In the end I’m not sponsored and not given sticks to fake say I like them like most “influencers”. I buy them, with my own coin, So if I’m disappointed with it I’ll definitely let people know. You can still make your own choice in hopes something I say rings with how your game is.
wait, the ultrasonic is on your list but theres no ultrasonic review on this channel, WAT?
It doesn’t warrant a review
oh ok

Sling tech blade is cool when you see it
Yah but it’s hot garbage shooting. Huge gimmick and terrible but it’s marketed well as all Bauer influencer itrain hockey, swaggey p use it in every vid
Holy shit there’s a Bauer vapor adv and a supreme adv wtf why did Bauer do that?
Both were meh
Ice warehouse mentions that the stick is a bit blade heavy cause of all the tech in the blade. Are you noticing the same thing?
No, the blade is not blade heavy at all. Bauer the one thing that decent at is balance. Minus the ultrasonic that was blade heavy
It is not. I have the stick and I love it it is not blade heavy at all my slap shots are amazing with it
@@ImFlshhh to each their own right. Glad it works for you

I had 2xpro gloves the Palm was ripped in a week. Totally cut corners

For me 70 flex while I'm 65kg is good for the stick. I just got it and it feels amazing and effortless.

Has anyone gotten the sling mini stick?
for some living room hockey that be fun lol
fun fact: the shaft is about 10 stiffer than it says, so 40 actually is about 50 flex
Yes it’s very hard to load
Is this twig made in the USA?
Pretty sure China
