The day has arrived! Museum delivery of my new Corvette Z06. When you order a new Chevy Corvette, you have the option of choosing R8C Museum Delivery, which means you take ownership of your car down at the National Corvette Museum, just down the street from the Corvette plant in Bowling Green, KY. This was quite an awesome experience, not only do you get the VIP experience when coming to get your car, but you get a guided museum tour where there are some seriously special Corvette's on display, and an expert vehicle orientation session along with some nice commemorative touches. I have been so excited for the new Z06 ever since getting a ride-along in a few pre-production engineering cars over a year ago. I cannot wait to get more time with my personal car and create more content with it!

Has any regular Joe off the street actually taken delivery of a Z06? Only people I’ve seen that have got one are UA-camrs.
Congrats! Looking forward to seeing you put the Z06 through its paces! I remember the video of you in a Z06 with a Chevy engineer driving. Your big smile said a lot. I am on a dealer list for a Z06 and will be doing NCM p/u, like I did for my previous Corvette.

Congrats man! Our local dealer screwed us on the Z06 we ordered and tried to add ADM so we stuck with Ferrari and Lamborghini since they don’t allow dealers to play that game. Super stoked you found a reputable dealer and even got to do the museum delivery! Enjoy that beast! 💙💙
He didn't tell you there was going to be a markup before you placed your order? Or did he tell you there would be no markup then changed his mind

Exactly if you are a famous person / you tuber that can bring some attention to the dealership like Eddie and Hoovies Garage turn they can get the Z06 for MSRP sticker price. But us mere mortals will have to pay an average of $50,000 over sticker. So on a $150,000 kind of well optioned Z06 that will come to $200,000 or a little more. So makes sense to just go with a Ferrari 458/488 or 430 manual when you get up to that price range plus you have the Ferrari aura and a way better dealership experience than Chevy will get you. In sales and service Chevy are soooo shady and will try to take advantage of you anyway they can $$$$$

Congrats dude! That’s a beautiful spec on a beautiful Corvette. Make sure you get the car ceramic coated to protect that paint from high speed rocks that’ll chip and scratch the paint.

Congrats on getting your Zo6 ! glad I watched the entire video because it was good to see Tom Peters, a name I hadn't heard in decades. Tom is married to Caroline R, the sister of one of my childhood friends Mark, and her Mom is one of my late Mother's best friends. ..we all went to the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, and although Tom was 3 yrs ahead of me, he was, still is an absolute Art Center legend ! His renderings were copied and emulated in the studios the entire time I was there, and probably still are. He seems as humble as ever, but his accomplishments are epic !
I hope that the Zo6 helps you take your driving to the next level and you get to actually do some DE days and maybe some private coaching with it. Cheers man .

Super congrats Eddie..! Hopefully you will be tracking it @Autobahn or @Road America, and it will not become a garage queen here..? I too live in the Chicagoland suburbs and I would love to connect with you at a local track day event, car show, or whatever (I own a low VIN - 2020 Stingray TR Z51 3LT fully loaded and modded with a complete exhaust swap-out and tons of real carbon fiber aero pieces on the exterior of my car, some real racing parts too - about $30k worth of mods, upgrades, and GM & aftermarket Accessories..!). And, great job by the way on creating this NCM Z06 delivery video, Tom seems like a great person, and I would love to meet Tom one day too here. 🙂

Someone else had a convertible rapid blue with red dipped interior, not personally a fan but it was bold!
@@EddieX it's definately a bold or shall i say the most "attention grabbing" combo for a corvette! The ceramic grey exterior/ red dipped interior is also very much my taste!😉
@@AdamRandomCollections agreed haha. I couldn’t do blue/red but a more neutral exterior like gray/white/black/silver would be amazing with red. But I just love blue so much haha. My r8 has a nice red interior!

There is a similar bust of Zora on the bottom of C8 Stingrays. Not sure if they did this on the Z06 but I can't imagine why they wouldn't.
