Thank you guys for watching! It was awesome on Tuesday's video to read all your comments that helped me learn more about yourselves! Your support really means the world. Love you guys.
I'm like twice your age, Jordan, but I love watching your videos because you remind me of myself at that age. Cracks me up! I'm on day 60 with my new Helix mattress and still love it. Thanks for introducing me to that great product. Blessings to you and Sara!!
I love all your videos! This is the only channel where I watch these 20 minute videos wanting them to be even longer! Everything else is stale and over-used.... But you and your wife are an inspiration. Thank you for putting this content out there!
This video reminded me of a concept called "the principle of sharing" in the book A Severe Mercy. Basically, if your spouse loves something, there's something in it for you to try and love. And the more you work on liking each others things (hobbies) the tighter knit you are. Just like a rope. The more strings that are twisted tightly together, the stronger the cord is.
When it comes to music, I definitely share Sara’s approach. If I hear a certain song and like it, cool. That doesn’t mean I like the band as a whole. Perhaps that’s the only song I like. Because of this my music preferences include dozens upon dozens of different bands which may or may not fit into the same genres.
KJV only for me, because I grew up with it and memorized it, so it's just confusing to try to read any other version! We never go out to eat either, to save money, plus it's healthier to eat what I fix at home!
I didn't realize you guys are cruise fans, so am I and my wife!!! And you're absolutely right, you can save WAY more on a cruise than a traditional vacation especially without drinking any alcohol or buying all the extras... We've really missed cruising since the pandemic shut it down.
It's considered the one of the best pieces of English literature, but that doesn't make it easily readable to most people. (Kind of like Shakespeare) What can be really problematic for understanding is the archaic words which have changed in meaning or are never used anymore. Respect to those who wanna use it, but I completely relate to why people don't like it. Because it's God's Word, he can use it for the teaching of his people just like all the other solid translations. :D
I personally gravitate towards ESV and NLT for regular reading purposes. I think it beneficial to look at other translations for study purposes to have a fuller grasp of the nuances of the original language. Some passages (eg Psalm 23 and The Lord’s Prayer) I will always quote in the KJV style, just the way I memorized them and it feels almost more poetic.
Sara, if you haven't tried it before, (and if you have a Sprouts near you) Sprouts has an organic "Mountain Gold" coffee that is super smooth and phenomenal. My mom has to eat all-organic and she and my brother went coffee hunting to find a good one and that's been our go-to coffee for years now.
my husband of 21 years and i have essentially nothing in common or similar taste. other than each other and our kids and grandchildren. we just do things that we aren't as into and allow each other to have their own lives.
Okay, I love the jazz music at the end. Very nice note to end on! Now I'm curious to know if you two have heard the song "The Land of Make Believe", by Chuck Mangione. It's about 12 minutes long, and it takes you on a pretty amazing ride. I'm curious to know what you two think of it.
Very interesting video. Always interesting to see how you 2 interact with each other and your thought process. You proved the old saying right of opposites do attract.
Same thing here with KJV even though I am dyslexic I got used to KJV... and I suppose with the italicized words it makes it easier to find locate the Greek, Aramaic or Hebrew words. (i.e. when it talks about love, did it mean agape love, philia love, eros love or storge love. It's rather nice.
I'm at 11:07 into the video, and I suddenly realized that I no longer know what my favorite fiction book is. Reading fiction used to be my favorite thing to do growing up, but it has been 7-9 years since I really switched to reading nonfiction instead of fiction, and my outlook on life has changed radically in that time, too. Suddenly I realized that because of all the changes, I no longer know what my favorite fiction book is. It almost feels like a mini identity crisis, but with much lower stakes. Still, I was very surprised by the trip that this innocent little question has taken me on.
I’m with Sara on music. If I hear a song that I end up enjoying, I’ll look it up and listen to it. But I don’t have a favorite band, because I only ever listen to about 2 songs for any single artist or group
Ahh Jordan!! I have to tell you a secret. You’re not paying $35-50 just for the food at a nice restaurant.....you’re paying for the ambiance, the atmosphere, the experience, the luxury......and most importantly - I cannot stress this enough - you’re paying to spoil Sarah, the love of your life, to give her an evening where she feels special, and adored, and like her husband just wants to romance her!! The point of going out for a date is not to eat. The food is a lovely part of it but it’s not the point. The point is to get out of your ordinary routine, to do something different and special together. And the bottom line is, if Sarah wants you to take her out every so often for a lovely date at a nice restaurant, and you can afford it, and the end result of that is Sarah feeling happier and more loved and treasured at the end of it, then surely that’s worth $35?? 🥰 Just my perspective, as a wife who also likes to occasionally be taken out and treated like a Princess!! 💖💖
Boost this - it also sounds like Sarah wants Jordan to make the decision and surprise her, so she does not have to do the mental work of picking what to eat/make. The thought counts.
Guys, man 😂 People like Jordan don't realize that if you're trying to be a humble and modest person, it can be embarrasing to explain that you want to be spoiled for the sake of it, and him bringing up how much it costs can make her feel worse about it.
Also Sara’s thing in music of just listening to songs she likes rather than following particular bands is so me. I love music like crazy but most bands seriously have some songs I don’t care for 😂
Sara makes me feel more normal. The more I hear about her the more I feel like we're the same. Also totally agree that cruising is great. But go somewhere warm or the wind will freeze you on the boat.
I like reading the Douay-Rheims Bible; there's no better Bible for me to read than one with a direct translation from the original Vulgate to an English tongue.
Big difference between NKJV and NIV. I prefer the ESV (English Standard Version) myself. King of Tokyo is fun, I don't enjoy Chess as much. Look up Empire Builder, the crayon rail game series!
saying that the only 2 coffees you know is Folgers and Starbucks is the tell as to why you think you dislike coffee!! Please find local roasters for your coffee taste test video when you do it. I would even recommend going to local roaster coffee shops and letting them know you’re doing a video of trying coffee for the first time, and have them give you samples of their brews. Coffee beans all taste different depending on where they are grown, how they are roasted, and temp they are brewed at. So you’ll find plenty of variations and nuances as you try different brands and roasts.

You both enjoy philosophizing! That’s huge. When I find people who enjoys philosophizing with me there’s an immediate soul connection.

Please do a video of Jordan trying different kinds of coffee!! Brands, flavors, maybe even different coffee drinks and ways of making it etc!
What a way to introduce the sponsor 😆
I know right? Lol
Yesss! XD
I was thinking the same way. I love the way you guys make it relevant to us and that you make it work with the content of the video
Its kinda funny how shameless the plug is

"The Message?" "NOOO!" I feel ya Sara!
That's the most wonderful table i've ever seen in my life and I love it.
Thanks! I built it!
I do both with music! I have bands I follow and listen to over and over again, but I also am happy to listen to just about anything. 😂
Been a fan for years, never commented till recently, but y'all and Blimey Cow are my favorite channels! Loving these videos!!
I feel the same way with King James. If I read anything else, I always go back to KJV to make sure I understood it correctly. 😅
“I hear it; I like it. I hear it; I don’t like it. Moving on.“
Same I’ve here!
I’m so surprised that Sara doesn’t like to read. She seems like a reader. I’m not a huge reader myself and always feel guilty for not reading more.
KJV only for me, because I grew up with it and memorized it, so it's just confusing to try to read any other version! We never go out to eat either, to save money, plus it's healthier to eat what I fix at home!
Yeah, that's how I am too.
For me familiarity did not equal understanding the text, so now I read ESV.
I laughed out loud at Jordan's fav chocolate 😂 "it's not even that good"
Jordan you definitely gotta try some really good coffee! I love Sara’s description of how she feels about coffee, it’s so relatable 😂
Oh my gosh Sara and I have the same taste/nontaste in music! If I'm going about my business, and i hear a song I like, that's all I need.
I think it's great that you guys are so different and yet work so well together.😊❤
My husband and I don't have a lot in common except Temperament and we've been happily married for 12 years
I didn't realize you guys are cruise fans, so am I and my wife!!!
And you're absolutely right, you can save WAY more on a cruise than a traditional vacation especially without drinking any alcohol or buying all the extras... We've really missed cruising since the pandemic shut it down.
I really like the KJV, the way other translations puts verses in such simple/regular english I struggle to grasp what it's saying sometimes
....Which is really funny because this is the opposite of what most people say

I immediately thought of As Cities Burn when Jordan mentioned following bands.
I’m on the same page as Jordan on Bible translation 😂
The difference between their favorite words sums them up LOL. So cute
Me and my buddies love Five Guys too! We call it high end fast food
Jordan still mad that he didn’t get his almond butter lol.
Trying to get over it
Interested in your opinion about nutrition. Recipes/Meals you like separately and what y’all like together.
KING OF TOKYOOOOOO! Love that game, and King of New York. Gotta get the evolutions expansions it makes the game a lot better!
The segues into the sponsor promos are getting funnier and funnier 😁
Sarah is looking radiate...girl, skin care routine--I NEED IT
Love your curls, Sara!
What a SMOOOOOTH ad transition! Noice😎
"My part time job is saving money" Ooo where do I apply Jordan? xD
When it comes to music, I'm actually both. I like specific songs but I also follow several bands.
A Tale of Two Cities is 👌
'King James Version' all the way!
Yes to the coffee video!!!
Alright alright, we’ll have to do this.
Wooo I was waiting for this one
Awesome video!! Thanks for showing us that even if people are different they can be a very happy and healthy couple 🤩
I love how you used my comment to Sara from Insta, even with my typo! 🤣
Love these videos about the two of you!
I didn't even realize there was a typo in it Hahahahaha
Ohmygosh. Jordan's favorite books is Tale of Two Cities?!?! I love that book!!
Matt comes across so highly strung 😂😂😂 but you posted so YAAAAAAY!
Jordan Taylor and The Wheezy Waiter need to collaborate on gourmet apple and nut butter combos😂
They need a colab period. That’d be awesome!

I can relate wholeheartedly to your chess comment, Jordan. I have 7 different chess apps on my phone!
Oooo the favorite date idea was mine!!! I think...too bad it wasn't shown lol. It's ok though!!
Wow I do 95% chocolate bars and thought that was intense! It does keep you from.over eating but I love it!
I can’t go higher than 79% or I feel like my brain is going to explode 🤣🤣
Okay, I love the jazz music at the end. Very nice note to end on!

Yesss steel cut oats
You get me
I love the music ya'll have been using lately!
Sara and I have the same taste in music😂😂

Jordan is like, if my wife cooks amazing food, why would we ever need to eat out again?
Poor Sara

I LOVE KING OF TOKYO!!!!
A video exclusively on Christian views would be so awesome, like denomination, eschatology, salvation, favorite preachers... would be so awesome ❤❤❤
Thanks guys!
"Cause I don't want to spend 30 years editing this." I FEEL THAT.
I’m with Sara on music. If I hear a song that I end up enjoying, I’ll look it up and listen to it. But I don’t have a favorite band, because I only ever listen to about 2 songs for any single artist or group
I feel the same way as Sarah with music.

I recommend for a date: local to Nashville Andrew Peterson concert!
I'm also a KJV Bible person too and 100% agree with Jordan. It's just reading the Bible feel. 😂
Oo! I love Monk!
Yeah King of Tokyo, definitely my top 5 faves games.
Sara and I should do a live playing of that game 😂
I completely agree with your KJV description! 🤠😂 I usually either read KJV or the older Geneva. Love the old versions! 🤠
Also Sara’s thing in music of just listening to songs she likes rather than following particular bands is so me. I love music like crazy but most bands seriously have some songs I don’t care for 😂
What I’ve Learned is great! Have you guys experimented with fasting much???
The opener 😂👉
I listen to bands like Jordan does.
the 99% chocolate is not dumb, I love very dark chocolate too :)
I love you guys awesome videos ❤❤❤❤
99% dark is the WAY to go
Thank you!! Someone understands!!
Perhaps
Sara makes me feel more normal. The more I hear about her the more I feel like we're the same. Also totally agree that cruising is great. But go somewhere warm or the wind will freeze you on the boat.
Yes so I like pinky toes.... Helix is an amazing mattress
King of Tokyo? It's so cool to hear of someone else who knows about that game! It's such a great game.
So much fun!
See, I grew up using and memorizing the ESV, so it’s not a Bible for me unless it’s an ESV 😂
I grew up with KJV, but switched to ESV. I'm open to more translations, just skeptical of paraphrases :)
I like esv nasb or nkjv really don’t like niv would never use it .
Oh boy, not another BB version war 😂
Remember, they before thou except after thine.
I like reading the Douay-Rheims Bible; there's no better Bible for me to read than one with a direct translation from the original Vulgate to an English tongue.

Loved this
My grandma says "fabulous" a lot 😂
I'm team apples and almond butter!
Glad to know someone else is too!
I put the video in 1.5 speed 😂🤣🤣🤣🤣ten times better
What I've learned is fantastic, bravo for good taste. Everyone here go sub!
"folgers, starbucks" ... Lmao the literal worst coffees out there
Jordan will have to watch that he doesn't snap, since I likes bands
If I had money for one of those mattresses then I would love it.
Keep them in mind. Legitimately amazing mattresses.
Sarah sounds like my sister Elizabeth...she doesn't like playing games, but she always beats the rest of us who likes games!
I know the favorite toe girl 😳
saying that the only 2 coffees you know is Folgers and Starbucks is the tell as to why you think you dislike coffee!!

Okay, but I have a favorite world: hippomonstrosesquippedaliophobia... the fear of long words.
Damn y’all are team fancy pizza 😭
2:25 "And you know what we didn't." completely cuts off Sara talking lol
I love KJV. But others are good too
Hey just want to ask, how did you two meet? Like I dont know how to end up with a godly husband?
Go to @Tiffany Dawn ‘s UA-cam channel, she has about four million videos on how to meet Godly guys, how to approach dating, etc 🥰💖
Which cycling vloggers do you watch?
Vegan Cyclist, NorCal Cycling, nations number one beast, Lanterne Rouge, Chaz Turmon!
KJV all the way!!!
