I just love this offbeat locations in Japan where most tourists wouldn't bother to go. It's nice to see Japanese vloggers like Kaori are showing us some alternatives instead of always going where the crowd is.

It's because tourists are going all in the same famous Fushimi Inari Taisha and they forget the fact there's 300 sanctuary in Kyoto prefecture...
And there is a lot of Inari Taisha too.
Same for Arashiyama bamboo forest, isn't the only bamboo forest but...
...also, mountain trains up along the range from Fushimi towards the north, are also nice and empty. Areas around Inari shrine outside of the official lands are great.
It feels very relaxing to have a chill traveling experience especially while you are sick and have to stay at home. But I feel like with every video I get closer to the point: “Should I go to Japan? Nah, I should just watch another video ”.
It is always a good day when a new Kaori video releases! I really like how you keep in the bits where you made little mistakes on the piano. It makes it feel so much more natural and genuine!

I remember when I visited the momoyama castle last year during spring. Even though the park was just blooming with cherry blossoms, it wasn't crowded at all.
It really is one of Kyoto's hidden gems and I can definitely recommend to visit it, if one still has a free spot on their to-do list for Kyoto.
