Okc was shooting 38% through 3 quarters. They didn’t even play well and still smacked Dallas by 20+ you ain’t playing the clippers with a bunch of old dudes anymore. These boys hungry and way too fast
Yes because the last quarter J Kidd shut done, the last 8 min he took out the centers that OKC did have an answer to, then sit all starters for the last 5 mins so that 22 pts could have easily 10 points or high single digits.
Yeah mavericks shot worse and we’re within 1 lmao your point is dumb. It’s a freestyle game anyway a feel out game. We always lose game 1 but you’re new to the playoffs welcome in. Tell me when they see adjustments and play the same. They won’t they were so bad because they were getting locked tf up you all go points from trash calls and ticky tack fouls that shouldn’t be a could but gotta give the kids some leeway. But OKC will be bullied all series from game 2-6 Mavs in 6 btw. Gl bro You fans gotta chill overhyping one game 😂
This is a misleading statement. If it wasn’t for something like 9 fouls being called I. The second quarter for OKC it would’ve been about a tied game at half give or take. Then OKC couldn’t miss from three leading them to a lead. The percentage they were shooting at when they went on that streak isn’t sustainable. Not to say OKC can’t win this series in 5 or 6 but if you think game 1 is how the series will go and that OKC is that much better than the Mavs on average then you’re delusional.
Now remind me what was the hype about again?😂 That's with Luka on 1 leg, Gafford with 1 hand, Jones hobbling and Kyrie with 9pts. Timmy drought seems like it has came to an end, that is not good news for any team. He is Mavs version of Nugget Michael Porter Jr.
I love how this show equally needs all three of them to work. We've seen the show without Wildes, without Brou and without Nick. What's clear is all three are a perfect match.
Maybe because like Jokic he is being defended better? Nba seems to switching to more physical style and actual defense. All nonathletic guys will get exposed.
"The Celtics can't win the Finals with Tatum playing like that" Yet the Celtics are blowing teams out in most other playoff games...with Tatum playing like that. Id' love to see Tatum find his groove and shake himself out of this slump, but it's not like this is a team that's relying on him to carry them the way that the Mavs rely on Luka. This is a team that is incredibly deep. Beyond the obvious skills of Tatum, Brown, KP and Derrick White...we also have Jrue (who is an All-NBA level defender and very efficient scorer). We've also seen games where guys like Pritchard and Hauser showed they are to get hot and come up with big scoring nights. The path to a Finals win would be much brighter with Tatum being in great form, but I don't think a minor shooting slump (36% is bad, but it's not James Harden in a pivotal game bad) is going to be the death of the team either.
Yes, the Mavs could be better in Game 2. But the same could be said for the Thunder. With the exception of JWill, I don't think that any Thunder player overachieved or even played up to their full capabilities. Consider that JDub didn't look like himself on the offensive end until the 4th quarter.
You mean the refs. Okc played bad because they got clammped on defense, SGA was getting locked by Djj but could after foul that wasn’t a foul got him 11 free throws lol that’s hilarious. Refs wanted to make up for it second half by trying to call fouls on OKC but you all actually fouled us that’s the point. But anyway we don’t need fouls to win okc does. Mavs shot terrible and we’re within 1 in the 3rd quarter lol yeah have fun mavs in 6
Complaining about calls is wild when you're tream as a whole settles for jumpshots and not driving to the rim but still have almost the same number of Freethrows
Tatum not playing well thus far just means when he does get it going he’s going to get it going fr 💯 he won’t play mediocre the entire playoffs. So if teams in the east can’t beat the Celtics with Tatum as the 3rd leading scorer it just won’t happen.

For those that think that of Tatum, just understand that there’s more than just scoring the ball to impact your team to win. I’d rather have Tatum average a cool 22/11/4 and win by 20+ than to have him average 30+ (on probably bad efficiency) and lose in dramatic fashion.
Such bad Celtics segment - couldn’t show Derrick White any love whatsoever, why would they it’s not like it’s about NBA basketball
9:54-10:07 "...and Magic who didn't missed a bit" WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT NICK??? THAT WAS MAGIC'S ROOKIE YEAR!!! My goodness
I wish Nick had the same energy when it came to embiid's dirty play
3 things are guaranteed in life:
1. Death
2. Taxes
3. Broussard slighting Kyrie somehow
10 times better without wildes
Miss you Wildes!!!
wildes’ importance was really highlighted today😭😭
Nick better have the same energy he had for Joker.
Joker is about to be 3x MVP. Hes held to a much higher standard than Luka
Nobody tried telling me jokic is better than shaq…💀
@@crustylust3490Jokic going home and is fraud. Ant & KAT killing him uh bye bye Jokic-Chicken Nuggets stans..
Enjoy his 1 ring over 3 play-in teams and no 50-win teams.. (Yawn, boring)..
@@pleasedonttemptme5963can’t even win championship without somebody bxtching about it. Wolves won nothing but the Nuggets are frauds? 🤦🏾♂️ I’m not even a fan but you sound dumb
luka wasnt being called better than peak lebron/steph stop with the excuses you guys all propped him up and told us he was clear of everyone else so he better go show it and i dont want to hear any complaining. and yall the ones who said u want people to talk about the nuggets more so dont complain
Wildes is that energy player that every team needs
Josh Hart
Wildes is a FOOL who doesnt know sports-Just rambling on about Nuggets the whole year and making a fool of himself -the guy was getting mad when someone dared question his take on the Nuggets Nuggets Nuggets in 5, 4 6 etc
Okc was shooting 38% through 3 quarters. They didn’t even play well and still smacked Dallas by 20+ you ain’t playing the clippers with a bunch of old dudes anymore. These boys hungry and way too fast
LMAO
Gl bro
You fans gotta chill overhyping one game 😂
9:03 The ‘77 Blazers won the championship with their top 5 minutes leaders in the Playoffs being 24, 24, 23, 23, and 21 years old.
Well, at least Nick is consistent. He picked LA over Denver, Denver over T-Wolves and now Mavs over Celtics. 😅 Genius.
I’m glad Nick pointed out the fact the games in the western conference weren’t officiated evenly, call it both ways or just let them play.
Still don’t know how Murray wasn’t suspended. Wild…
NBA trying to prevent nuggets from being swept and extending the series
I’d rather watch First Things First’s morning meeting than any episode of Speak.
Y’all are looking at this all wrong. Jayson Tatum is so good that even when he sucks he still averages 21/10/6
Mavs vs OKC, Nick, “hey, listen, Lebron this and that …🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
If the Celtics keep winning I dont really care what percentage Tatum shoots 🤷♂️
Tatum leads his team in every category besides scoring… Lazy take to boost your tv bias
Luka hasn't looked like himself for a while now.
Sure hasn’t. He’s not athletic, that’s why
hes injured
Maybe because like Jokic he is being defended better? Nba seems to switching to more physical style and actual defense. All nonathletic guys will get exposed.
Something abt Wildes just makes the show better. He’s a force multiplier, or Christian McCaffery type broadcaster
Now Nick, that’s a nice tie 💪🏾
Tatum is doing what it takes to win. Y’all on TV don’t know what you want from players.
100% the appropriate take on the Murry fine
"The Celtics can't win the Finals with Tatum playing like that"
Yet the Celtics are blowing teams out in most other playoff games...with Tatum playing like that.
Only players averaging 20 - 10 - 5 in the playoffs: Jokic, Embiid, Tatum😭😭 Luka shot worse than Tatum last night but we probably won’t hear that
Tatum not playing well thus far just means when he does get it going he’s going to get it going fr 💯 he won’t play mediocre the entire playoffs. So if teams in the east can’t beat the Celtics with Tatum as the 3rd leading scorer it just won’t happen.
Duck boats are going to be very busy this year boys 🐻💪☘️💪
I love Nick n Brou but we need our Wildes man!!!
🤔 nick was certain tatum wasn't a top teir superstar because he shot 40%FG and 25% 3PG in the these playoffs and here lukca is shooting 39% FG 22% 3PG and nick jist brushes past it.
Nick's playoff picks are good if you just take whoever he thinks will win the finals and pick them to lose in the first round or miss the playoffs. Never seen anyone understand what wins in the NBA less than that guy.
Luka 5-35 from 3 the last 4 games. If Tatum , jokic, Steph did that he would tweet it and scream from the mountain top.
Tatum can score 40nand everyone would say he needs to pace himself. He averages a double double and people are whining about that as well. He doesn't care to be the MAIN reason his team wins. The media just loves stirring up nonsense
Okc will win this series. They're #1 seed in the West for a reason. Just Face Reality
Show Tatum's all time numbers, not 5 games from one post season.
Even whilie wildes was out today it’s a great show
Would watch this over any other sports show
The Celtics are fine. JT doesn't have to be the top scorer. Basketball is a team sport, it's not golf or tennis.
SGA should win MVP.
SMH
SMH should win PVM.
SGA
Said an OKC fan 😂
@@gabrielmena4484 said anybody that knows ball, and actually watched the games
Wildes is a great Alfred😂
You don’t get the Wildes we get or the Brou we get without the character Nick is. It’s when the 3 fit perfect is why the show shines. Brou & wildes best moments involve Nick lol
They should've invited like coach Mark Jackson or Dirk Nowitzki he did good stepping in for shag on TNT
WHY WAS THE MAVS’ TITLE PIE SLICE SO LARGE, NICK? WHY??? The Thunder were a better team all season. WHY WAS THE LAKERS’ SLICE SO LARGE? The teams atop the standings are there for a reason.
Because Nick, just like the NBA refs and officials, bets on the games, so he needs to sway betting odds in his favor. 😅
Nick is the most consistantly bias person in sports media.
Next time Wilde’s is out y’all gotta get Jenna Wolfe to cover for him. Would be fun I think.
