Sailing into the slip

Tacking into our Slip on Utah Lake, UT.
Under no circumstances do I recommend you try this unless you are trained, know your surroundings, and conditions. That being said it's nice to know I don't need the engine to get back if it ever failed.

Nice job. I used to sail my Catalina 22 into the slip all the time back in the day. Not going to happen with my current boat!

Yeah definitely only going to happen if conditions are ideal. I wouldn't do this if the marina was bigger with more slips.

Am I tripping or what? About halfway through the video, there is something swimming on the starboard side of the boat. Whatever it is is pink in color, and it actually overtakes the boat in the end. Perhaps it is sunlight in a weird angle? My thoughts were that it is a pink dolphin (if there is such a thing)?
