Just discovered your videos and they are pure gold. Love the way you include a lot of useful vocabulary but at the same time are not afraid to talk grammar. A lot of work must go into these productions, and it’s much appreciated. Keep them coming!

How do you not have thousands of subscribers (yet)?! You're wonderfully organised, have a static display of notes for the lesson behind you that don't disappear after five seconds, the video is an appropriate length (terse but not ephemeral) and you've nailed the level of complexity - other creators had me feeling like I'd either jumped in at the deep end or were so simplified I knew I was missing the underlying mechanisms and common edge cases. I'd encourage you to keep breaking down the grammar in to (broken) English language equivalents, it helps to understand the Gaeilge more natively and think in it rather than just translating English thoughts in to Irish words. Also your speech is wonderfully clear, you seem to know what you want to say rather than umming and ah-ing through. You have a talent for teaching.
Time to subscribe and watch your other videos. Go raibh míle maith agat!

This is a really great presentation of the copula. Rosie, you have a way of explaining and illustrating this somewhat peculiar grammatical concept that I find very helpful and intuitive.

Conas ata tu Rosi?! I’m very happy to have found your channel. Learning as much as I can about my history and how to speak Gaeilge, Dia Dhuit! 🙂

GRMA. I'm guessing by your accent that you are from Kentucky. Those who have passed you by because you have a delightful drawl and therefore could never know the nuance of the Irish copula, just passed by a gem. I'm going to echo Linda (see below). This is a difficult concept, and you did a great job!

Thank you so much! How nice of you…This made me smile! (And you’re pretty close, but a couple states off…☺️ I was born/partially raised in North Carolina, but have lived nearly the last two decades in Alabama!😀).
