Interview with Francesco Piemontesi

on Liszt's "Années de Pèlerinage". The Italian-Swiss pianist provided his fingering for the newly revised Henle edition of the 1st and 2nd year (Suisse and Italie). In the interview with Henle editor Dr. Peter Jost he talks about how to approach to those difficult and famous pieces, as well as about virtuosity, sound, a "good" fingering and the use of the pedal in Liszt's works.
