FalleN to FURIA. Liquid selling EliGE. electronic to . . . Evil Geniuses?! I . . . just . . .
Suffice it to say, there have been some truly unhinged roster rumours as of late. Some things are set in stone; some aren’t.
Either way, this might be the biggest roster shakeup in CS:GO history.

TL no longer being the representative of NA hurts me
Friendship ended with liquid.
CoL is now my new favorite friend
Yeah reminded me of the time c9 switched from NA. This suckss.
that's like when team3d left 1.6 / css back in the day
@@albertkkim Its worse than that. The best NA roster of all time is gone
@@pepsi6557True but I feel like you could argue that 2018 Major winning C9 was the best American roster of all time. Liquid have been the most consistent NA org in placings but C9 got the only NA major win. Ik it’s not a strong argument but worth mentioning
honestly, elige dodged a massive bullet going to complexity, EG treat their players like shit and i dont really think he would have stayed at this point of his career with an org like that, jason lake is harsh, but he is very player focused, so i think this was the best option.
electronic, perfecto, ax1le, sh1ro and boombl4 would be insane
IM and JL are gonna be massive for Navi and I like the idea of Aleksi
I think you are forgetting the CS2 switch, imo this is the best time to switch players and learn new tactics as a new team.
Sad to see TL go to EU. I wouldve hoped they stayed in NA with the roster changes but oh well. I have full faith in Daps' abilities in recruiting fantastic new talent as he has done in the past. Yekindar reminds me of a young Stewiew2k esp when he first joined Liquid. The difference is that Stew fell off hard while Yekindar has been insanely consistent and amazing. I hope for Yek's sake that his IGL stint doesn't fail like Stew's
Idk about consistent for Yekindar tbh. He’s I guess rarely bad but when TL picked up him he was supposed to be a super star and he was pretty inconsistent in being that
it was definitely YEKINDAR that made call to get rainwaker and patsi. No way in the entire universe that on an any given day without influence of Yekindar who is amid lover of CIS/Eastern European CS they purchase these two. Who is rainwaker and patsi is an okayish player, not bad, not great, just good.
@@thenightmancometh93 bro you have not been watching the same games. He's been regularly on the top of the leaderboard for TL. You can even check his HLTV score and he's been doing really well, not just against his teammates but in general. No pro can have perfect stats consistently every game but he's been consistently top fragging and making big impact plays.
@@alpang6161 The problem isn't only Yek's individual performance, but TL as a whole/team. Yek's performance alone will not carry TL enough despite having NAF and Elige with Nitro's IGL (obviously if you follow stats/tournament standings). Even though Stew (and some of his team mates at the time) eventually fell off and had internal issues (which was one of the main factors the roster fell off later on and split ways), that TL roster was still the best as a team and in terms of chemistry and impact as a full NA roster (consistent top placement in tier 1 tournaments, speedy grand slam, achieved #1 in world rankings, etc. which you should know if you're a long time CS viewer/fan). Yek's addition as a non-NA/EU star player didn't make TL achieve the same success as TL's full NA roster with Stew/Twistzz and the gang (that's despite the internal issues too). Like shox said in the video (and common sense), team chemistry is still very important aside from just firepower and young talents (also common sense in CS history since 1.6 days). Even tier 1 IGLs and support players/roles with low/inconsistent ratings (as usually expected in most teams) won't matter as long as they're doing their roles well in the team. Being on top of the leaderboard/scoreboard doesn't mean anything if your team isn't consistent in standings, tier 1 tournaments, and stats. This is old knowledge already.
(EDIT: typos)
been asking myself this ever since I poped out of my mother 42 years ago...

That's a coincidence, I been thinking the same thing since I popped in you're mother 43 years ago 😂

Whats happening is a holy shit moment. Nonchalantly talking about elige leaving TL, electronic and perfecto leaving NAVI, NAVI going international, yekindar being igl, dupreeh retiring and gla1ve bouncing, aleksib still bouncing around. Its gonna be weird watching CS2 teams play cuz they wont even know what the fuck they are doing. But really exciting to see how it plays out. New game, new choices, new options. Thats esports.
I don't think dupreeh retired, he got benched and is looking for a new team ahead of cs2.

what do they expect? the truth is cs in na absolutely collapsed. the last recorded na stats from 2022 showed that na had the lowest matchmaking playerbase, lower than singapore, lower than japan, lower than argentina, hell even lower than hong kong. fpl is dead. faceit level 10 is dead. esea is triple dead and the anticheat is basically useless ever since jaguar got fired due to the bitcoin scandal. the truth is cs sucks in na. most people only want to get the global/lvl10 badge of honor, then uninstall to play the games they actually want to play. you have to deal with this neverending toxic youth culture of being called bad, onliner and cheater, even when it's not true. you have to pop off in pugs and scrims and league matches. you have to have amazing performances on not just your first lan, but second and third lan too. and you have to be physically fit and clean appearance (no acne) or else you get flamed to shit because na is simultaneously the least healthy but also the most shittalking when it comes to appearance and virginity. i look at zywoo, such fucking unreal talent, and i know 210% he would be ruined in na. i look at s1mple, and i smile that he left na and went to ukraine to pop off. na is dead. i thought it was just the negativity due to the 2008 recession leading to cgs collapsing, and that when that was over, na would recover. but since 2015 i've known the truth. they probably will get occasional silver medals, but nothing more.
I'm so sick of this wave of orgs going international. It's literally killing the entire scene slowly. You're not gonna get the same passion and fandom when every org is just about the highest stats, individual plays, 5 different nationalities and rpster changes every 4 months. No identites, no flavour anymore
I remember feeling this way about pro lol. It definitely impacted my passion for LoL.
young NA players just don't have the motivation or drive to become top tier csgo talent. that's all there is to it. don't blame the orgs, blame our youth
Csgo is dead cs 2 is not born yet , chaos will settle down , chill.Take care brother
welcome to sports
at the same time, national teams have unfortunately been proven to be massive liabilities in this era. Heroic and Cloud9 being the only anomalies.
Nice to see Fallen getting another chance. I hope Furia becomes good again with him in the team, that would be cool.
I hope Fallen becomes aggressive with the awp. I think that would be really cool. High risk high reward gameplay at the top level.
@@coldloner7453 Yeah he just need confidence and he can play aggressive.
Furia should’ve done the fallen move years ago
Real talk, Liquid leaving the NA scene is so abysmally sad and depressing, but at the same time... We gotta give them respect.
Jokasteve is not joking (pun not and intended), they seemed to have literally done all they could to carry the NA scene. They do deserve the chance now for us to trust them in what they're doing.
Thank you for everything Liquid 💜🇺🇸
..... Now if nitr0 and Elige form their own org for cs2......
Bro nitr0 is not tier 1 material anymore, he is valorant material
@@mortti361na was never top 1 material for any game unfortunately.
@@SashaSlvt They have had the material (Twistzz, Elige, Naf, Osee, Shroud, skadoodle, daps..) but they never had the work ethic and will to grind for it
@@mortti361real talk, that 1 month break before the Starladder Major said it all.
As a longtime TL fan, I am kinda happy with the decision of moving to EU. Yes, it's sad that NA is losing such a big name, but what I think was missing for TL to be a title contender again was good practice. And that can sadly only be found in EU, with how small the NA scene is. But just like everyone else, I also can't say how it will work out. Guess we'll have to see ^^
EG failing to secure EliGe was such a disappointment. Would have LOVED to see him destroy on the rifle along with autimatic.
nah EG has kind of shit management, I think elige is better off at col
Until EG fires its entire management team, keep every single pro away from them.
Yes biggest in CSGO after the last major CSGO tournament, yep you read that right 😂
Love ur videos guys! Keep up the great work
and thats why you not a professional shox... every single change makes sense so far
I'm so glad I'm not a tribal person! Meaning I don't watch CS:GO or even Hockey to cheer for any single team, I still have my favorites obviously but I don't watch simply to see them do well. I enjoy these things for the whole thing they are, what makes them both the best things you can spectate with your pants on! The insane team plays, the clutches the individual efforts insane flicks or no scopes or wall bangs or run boosts and all I'm giving up by being tribal and cheering for certain color combinations is the sad feeling when my team didn't make it to this or that phase of this or that tournament. If this gave you a fresh perspective, fucking awesome! One thing in life we need, now more than ever, is to see and hear new ways to look at stuff.
5:55 Why didn't Liquid just give a chance to some NA talent who deserve it like Swisher, cynic and Jeorge instead of two randoms?
i mean patsi isnt exactly a random, he was on team spirit who weren't amazing but weren't terrible either. no clue who rainwaker is tho
@@tonyt5711 Rainwaker was farming in T2 so I think he's gonna be around the same level as oSee
@@user-mc6vi8yd7l oof i dunno about rainwaker then, cause osee has his moments but he might be the most inconsistent player on liquid pre-roster swaps.
@@user-mc6vi8yd7l nah bro hes not even T2
"two Randoms"... NA really is a joke, starting with the people who live there
TImes has to change for the new era to come and i hope it will be a new light to make CS lit again!!! Those memories in the past will be rememberd and cherish forever!
Dmitri talking about CS. All is well in the universe.
Just hope Valve forces ESL and Blast to change the partnership nonsense
They have, they asked for changes about a month ago.
You completely left out BIG 😢
I really wanted dupreeh to get another Intel grandslam before the retires. Extend the legend, matching twist in 2 grand slams in different teams
AYY YO, statring this off with "Fatherless behavior" is CRAZY to me lmao.
7:50 Yeah mate, I was laughing :)
NA League, NA CSGO, NA Doto
Everything suffering now......
Liquid not picking up vanity and maybe xeppaa way back when is one of the mistakes that has taken them to where they are now no longer representing NA. Vanity not getting a chance in a t1 org baffles me when NA has always lacked promising IGL's. Freakin Slemmy got that chance but not vanity? Too much gatekeeping on these NA rosters.
they brought Slemmy into C9 because he was Stewie former teammate
@@s0meRand0m129sounds like gatekeeping to me
NA csgo is absolutely not a challenge at all. comp has to many cheaters to take it seriously. Only experiencing the casual 10 man lobby. Using a VPN to play all over the world.
My experience is NA csgo is really terrible. California is worse than New York if you can imagine. Even though nobody leaves spawn and has great places to abandon their team, the entire fight, and the objective entirely to wait out the timer and lose the round. Why do they even buy guns if they just want to hide the bomb and make it impossible for anyone on their team actually playing the game.
People saying it's just casual while trying to lose don't realize. csgo is csgo is csgo doesnt matter what the game mode is. If youre on bottom on one game mode your on bottom for every game mode. Casual in London is 1650% more challenging right off the rip its noticeable.
I will always route for TL no matter what. Still, it sucks to see them move house :/
yekindar is on his faze niko era
I love when the video description is just the script
Csgo or cs2 ? Think the massive roster changes is due to the fact that a "new" version of the game is released, like a new slate?
it's sad that TL made the choice to be EU, but in their eyes it was a necessary evil. However, now that CoL is THE NA team, I want to see how well they handle the pressure and how much elige's experience and firepower can help push them to success. Overall, I'm honestly super excited for next season despite me not understanding half of these decisions lol
That’s why it’s hard for fans to fully invest. Which is why Navi whim keeps the core has the most fans
A lot of international teams will kill the hype in tournaments because there's only few teams representing their country.
+1
Yeah, teams representing your country is the best part about watching tournaments. 🥲
*sad UK noises*
@@mattbrewerton9446ya like back in the day we have some sort of world cup tournament because 1 team 1 nationality
Guys you forgot to talk about the fact that og currently has 1 player in their roster
i couldnt have agreed on the title anymore
damn bro I didnt choose to not have a dad
NA cs is dead and it can't be recovered. If Valve actually cares about cs (which will never happen. Curse you DOTA!) They should promote the shit out of cs in China
All the rumours about OG building up around Nexa, Fiku and Regali, with mentions of Cypher and Jimpphat being the last two names?
But yeah.. EG going from doing nothing, to suddenly potentially having a lineup of Electronic, Elige, Jackz, Zorte +1, and then now perhaps promoting their second roster to be their main roster instead. I'm surprised, and in many ways, I'm not surprised by the chaos around EG at all.
EG could have secured elec, Elige, zorti, jackz, and would have been able to build a monumental roster, but somehow they fucked up zorti's deal, jackz backed down as well, followed by elige, The guy responsible for talent acquisition in this company should honestly be axed.
So now furia will have 3 awpers.Damn
Why is nobody talking about BIG? They try to do what Liquid fails. A all German team. And it failed, yet they try again and swap out 3 players. Still remaining all German and holding up the true spirit.
C9 electronic, let's go!
I just don't want yeki turn into 2nd Stewie2k in liquid where from secondary caller to igl , and everyone knows what happened from start was high just like yeki but when bumps started hitting it all went donw hill...
Been asking that question since the moment I first touched League
I think NA is the problem, they almost failed on every international esports
BUT TL could still potentially make american rmr with a work around by saying daps is the 5th and then patsi comes in because "hes sick", im pretty sure a few teams has used this against the system.
“God tier” 😂😂😂
Don't care at all about TL but it's a stupid business move considering they'll never make a major now. Can't wait to see who fills their spot in NA, might be just the change needed
WHY IS THE GAME SET TO LEAGUE OF LEGENDS IN THE DESCRIPTION
Was waiting for this video
If he doesn't say "suffice to say" was Dimitri really in the video?
Elige is the GOAT for the NF hat confirmed
Think it’s time for Moist esports to take the CS scene by storm.
I don't think he has that much of option when looking for players
2 ways to save CS NA - and they are both American solutions:
- Shouting and making lot of noise saying they are the best.
- Learn from regular sports in the US and make a World Championshipseries without including the world. At least 1 World title guaranteed!
Profit.
Kinda funny how NA finds itself in a worse position than it was in at the start of CSGO. Especially with the addition of international talents I feel it only propped up NA CS for a while before the exponential decline of the scene.
Elige to Astralis would frickking seal the thing!
The NA culture really just cant seem to support local talent. It takes a lot of effort from the players to make things happen. Kind of insane how much NA players have invested into the scene only for orgs to spit on it.
Shox sounds so expensive here🤣
It is either gonna be a wake up call or NA will die for good. Same with TL. They are betting they will remain relevant in EU but i would argue the revenue hit they are taking from stickers and fanbase leaving will not make this trivial. They are essentially going against thougher competition with less funds. Could either be what brings them to the next level or torpedoes the csgo franchise.
Fallen will turn KSCERATO into the new coldzera
Idk why they removed Eliige... Team Liquid was good enough to not change anything in my eyes... now when new player will come and new IGL they will have - they will need to build everything almost from 0. They should keep their players and build from that... they were already good, and im sure they would be even better in the future. In my opinion its a bad thing.
Bro cover the codm rostermania that shit is insane
This was the best moment for liquid to swap to EU as they now have the possibility to take a legends spot with them for the first time
This actually makes sense to me kinda cuz isn't TL's val team in EU also?
Their DotA 2 team is too. It seems natural.
i cant wait for none of these changes panning out in the end, im serious, none of them seem good on paper, maybe navi and c9 have better results, but the rest of these moves seem desperate and rushed.
it is fun listening to shox voice lol 😂
Liquid CSGO going EU , EG Dota2 Goes SA. NA is a desolate wasteland in those 2 games.
they are probably putting there coach as the player and a eu player as sub than a week before say he is sick just a lil loop hole they could use
Now Xeppa is set to be the 6th man of C9 CSGO kekw
Xeppaa is coming back to cs from Valorant?
I just want to know what is happening with Fnatic, I have heard everyone except for Mezii and maybe Nicodooz are out
They gave up on NA moments before CS2 releases…
sucking for so long does that to you. The fanatism people have for "NA players or we wont be fans" makes no sense. You are all human guys, just find a player you can get behind. People like us from places where there is no such thing as a national team playing, we just like players and we follow teams no matter what.
half team spirit roaster is going away idk why s1ren and i hope that w0nderful finds a good roaster but im happy for the patsi move
Long time TL csgo fan. (c9 is my NA lcs team) It's been hard watching my 2 fav orgs bring in European players/russians. I understand it from a side of wanting to win. Just sucks admitting NA csgo scene is dead. TL in all honesty was it. I feel it when he says they did all they could. Couldnt agree more personally. I'll still be repping both teams. Just from a different view point.
Team Liquid if anything is one of the most open team about why they make the decisions that they make i have to respect that. I'm sad to see them leave NA but i think this will be good not just for TL but NA as well. I think this will be a wake up call. Also, with the fact that CS E-Sports is basically all international other then RMR's I don't think it really matters where the team is. I do agree that Becca we already lost C9 so to lose TL as well sucks but not end of the world
its so unfortunate especially since cs2 is about to launch..... go eg and complexity
why the fk i can't stop looking at his left hand, what happened there?
I think they will also remove osee too later on
Fallen's IGLing is too passive for a team like Furia
Which is why art want him coz his fast pace game barely give them an edge in winning
Their agressive IGLing style got them literally 0 trophies. It's time to make changes since that doesn't work in modern CS.
AlekksiB is finished or just Finnish
Gla1ve and Coldzera to Na'Vi
You should probably flag “fatherless” as a word you want to avoid…. not sure why you’re choosing to blanket shame people without dads, but maybe instead take a second look at your language when your channel reaches such a broad audience
I'm starting to like Liquid more now since there's YEKINDAR and Patsi together.
If glaive left astralis , Navi need a IGL , Maybe glaive and dupreeh ofc..If going international , why not bringing ex Major winner
You see, you stay in NA you're trash you go to EU you're good.
Electronic going to C9 im pretty sure.
1:04 beginning of the actual vid
Just another reason I dont watch esports anymore, living in the meme region hurts.
As a Liquid fan im honestly super excited to see how they gonna look.
TL dead to me. Bring NAF home! Could have remained an "NA" org with a majority EU roster.
America had a CSgo team? :O
electronic to eg is a damn sin
LETS GO COL
They went to Tokyo and DIDNT watch Valorant masters ?
I’d like to see swish on col
As an extremely long time TL and NA fan, this doesn't even feel surprising knowing how downhill NA cs has gone over the last couple years. Especially thru the covid era it seemed inevitable that teams would move to EU, it was just a matter of when. However I do hope that complexity handles Elige well and he's able to mentor that team to great heights.
Its been a WILD few weeks. Cs2 is going to be a completely different scene and its exciting (and sad) to see some of the moves made around tier 1 cs. Dupreeh being benched off vitality was such a shocker to me
While NA cs has been rolling downhill ever since the pandemic, I still think and hope NA scene will recover. Atm, you could say NA scene is weaker than the sourh American one, but I don't see it staying that way forever.
As a European, it's somewhat "amusing," but it's definitely not good for the game in the long run. Big money still lays in 🇺🇸
@@chairpersonofthecharlotteh5646 Yes there's big money in NA, but the csgo scene is a hundred times bigger in EU. With the release of cs2 that gap might close a little bit, but EU I'd call the current home of csgo over NA. Not to mention the tournaments were much lower prize pools than EU qualifiers and region specific events. With complexity being NAs only real team left, NA cs is gonna stay dead for a while. All of the young talent is being developed in EU.
As much as I want NA teams to succeed, it's not profitable for the teams and the players.
Mantuu to BIG
