  • The South African Federation of Trade Unions is demanding that the taxi industry be formally recognised, protected and regulated. The union has written to Employment and Labour Minister Thulas Nxesi to begin the process, saying the department has a responsibility to protect these workers. They’ve given the minister until Tuesday to respond to their demands or they’ve promised to take the matter to court. eNCA’s Lethiwe Mdluli reports. Courtesy #DStv403

When a number plate is upside down, it changes faster than the weather. It just fits into their whole culture of dont care about the rules just do what brings the most money now.
You can make the labour rules but they aint gone follow them.

To draw out a pension when you reach old age and retire, you need to contribute to that fund over your working life.
A lot of self-employed people contribute to retirement annuities or private pension funds such as Old Mutual, Sanlam etc etc, there's nothing stopping you from paying into these private funds as an individual.
Your government pension fund, funded hopefully by your taxes, won't be enough to sustain you in your old age in the future, start saving in your own personal nest egg pension fund now, and thank me later!

0:31 Why does that first taxi have an upside down numberplate? 😂
I thought they want to be recognised as serious workers??
Who will teach them how to drive and obey the rules of the road?
