You want to see Waste, visit a Dollar Tree Dumpster the day after they get their Truck or the next day or two. If a case of Pizza Sauce came in and 1 jar is broken inside, they will Toss the entire case instead of washing off the remaining jars. Wasteful Company! I scored 7 cases of Monster Energy and all that was wrong was a couple of cans exploded in the case. So they just toss it, just like with Laundry soap, Cleaners & Picture Frames. Plus if a case comes in smashed it will get tossed too. Lets just say I have enough Kleenex for at the least a year. (Not Kidding) And when there was a drive for TP They would toss an entire case, because it came in smashed or damaged in shipment, which meant maybe they would be smashed & tore open. This is a Wasteful Company! Amy, I'm guessing your Hubby is a "Speedo" Man, Lol. Meaning he doesn't wear Boxers ,Tighty Whities or go Commando!! LOL!!

Love all your videos. Ingredients like canned tuna, salmon or chicken with a grain like rice,quinoa,lentil and any vegetable. It could be cold or hot depending on the weather. I stocked up on can goods and rice, grains and noodles during the pandemic and need to start using it more. We have tomatoes and herbs growing now and have some frozen vegetables and fruit. I LOVE lavender, in fact I used to spray my pillows and bed linens. It relaxes me and helps me sleep peacefully. I suffer from chronic pain from a broken back. 🙂 I no longer take opiates so any “tricks” help. 😊🙏🏻

My two regular Aldis stopped having much in their dumpsters or employees staying way late at night (I go when no ones there :), or way too much stuff on top that is TOO heavy to move. So, I discovered a new Aldis that was only 15 min, from home, and jackpot!!! Persistence pays off:) Also, I do like diving in colder weather better, because meat and diary is kept fresher, and the dumpsters aren’t NEARLY as stinky!!!
I got a ton of cherry tomatoes and roasted them in a little olive oil. I split them in half and coated in a little olive oil. Spread out on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 350° for about 30 mins. They should have some crispy edges and juices evaporated away. I will eat them as is for a side or add to sauces. Baking brings out so much sweetness and flavor. I put in a jar in the fridge or you can freeze.
Zucchini.... always in your dives! Maybe you have some NEW ideas for us! I'm eating it raw with hummus or throwing it in my minestrone... could use some new recipes from FM!😆
My friend in Indiana wishes they had an Aldi! I'm lucky to have alot of stores.Her small town has a crowded Walmart,and a Walgreens. I shop there,Publix ,and family dollar.

My frugal ingredient suggestion is cottage cheese! When we were little, my mom used to make us egg noodles, mix it with cottage cheese, and top it with browned butter. It was delicious! Years later, I had a similar dish at a fancy Italian restaurant, lol

I agree. The fruit they find looks great. With do many homeless people needing food its actually criminal to throw god salvageable food away. This food could be donated to a local shelter. Or cooked up and or packed up and given to homeless people on the street.
I make a delicious salad that I think you would love. Avocado, sliced cucumber, tomatoes, chopped onions, garlic powder,, salt pepper, red chili flakes, lemon juice, & oil. It keeps very well for several days. I make my meal with this. Yum
