I like the Bluetooth function in the In-flight entertainment system.
Total game changer!
@@allmightygriff Thanks! 👍👍👍👍
@@allmightygriff It does kinda look like that my comment is the most famus one!
...and I "like" that the distraction from more fuel efficient engines affecting the CG and the CL doesn’t seem to matter to so many people.
A great step forward rather than a step back labelled as "passenger demanded enhancement". Good on you United.
The cabin in the 737 MAX-8 looks incredible, and futuristic.
united bring it back
Too bad the plane is inherently build wanting to pitch up. That’s why I consider it a terrible plane even if it looks great
No tf bro☠️. The 737 serie of aircraft is over 40 years old and still retains characteristics of the previous 737 models. Yes, the cabin may look nicer, but take a look at the Jetblue a321LR cabin. Boeing can not beat that with their 737 max series
😳
@@moviefalk177Airbus on top!
As long a MCAS doesn’t fly the MAX into the ground, it’s all good.
it wont :)
There are ways to prevent that from happening, had the pilots used their QRH to deal with the problem of Runaway Stabilizer trim and had practice and practice in the simulators, before flying.
Yeah its probably safe 🤨 you know what has never crashed so far? None at all? The airbus neo series.
@@sakariaskarlsson634 just because a plane like the A320 NEO hasn't crash, never assume it will never when you least expect something that happened.
@@naphtalite will never set foot in this junk of a plane thanks will fly airbus where institutions designed to protect citizens through regulations do their jobs without being bought out through corrupt politicians that's the problem with USA too much money in politics FAA was bought
Wow that looks absolutely stunning along with the MAX’s looks it makes it even more beautiful!
the thumbnail is the a321 lmao
I just realized 😂
Lmao true
Damn I came here to write the same thing ;)
Lol ye

If United airlines have the 777x with this cabin i will totally loved it
@@G-546 they already ordered a350s I think. Edit: they did but it’s going to be a while until they receive them.
@@GB-ig3tc 2027
@@GB-ig3tc I heard they may cancel as they keep pushing those orders off...but no one knows but them.
Ok ok ok but i do agree tho idk why i didn't think about this...

Simply fantastic. Love how it looks. Stunning
I've flown Delta relatively exclusively for 20 years. United has been really impressing me from afar lately. I'm giving them a go at a long haul in Polaris in a couple months. Excited to see it first hand.
Now we just need to pray the aircraft is also save for flight...
After the crashes happened it is one of the most safest planes in the world
But first, you have to pass first grade grammar.
I’m excited for BT technology!!
Wow that looks very gorgeous!
Thank you for the update.
Why the thumbnail use A321neo.....boom🛫🤣

@@SimpleFlyingNews well done 🛫😍
Flying on one in less than 3 weeks! This video makes me excited, thank you very much
An major airline focusing on passenger comfort. Imagine that. Good job United, I look forward to flying on it.
A
i just went on a flight in one of these planes yesterday, the interior was crazy, it looked super modern and there were even TVs on each seat on the plane which usually is never seen on smaller planes like these
Very sweet going to be a nice plane for years to come.
I am excited that the Boeing 737 MAX has come back and the cabin of the United 737 MAX 8 looks amazing!
DAMN Thats a beauty
It looks beautiful 😃👏🏻🛩️
I’m so excited 😆 and looking forward to flying in United airlines new 737 max 8 with the new and reconditioned interior 💺😃👍
The United Max 8 cabin looks pretty sick
Yeah!
Sick? Why?
@@yengsabio5315 That's a young slang term in the US for looks great
@@johniii8147 Oh! Copy that! "Sick" is normally a negative term, now it carries something positive.

Bluetooth for the in-flight entertainment is a game changer! Wireless 🎧 are now a so much more practical. Brilliant idea!
Nice to see the screens back in economy class hope all airlines follow.
United basically shifted from the American strategy in terms of seat back entertainment to Delta strategy
I will be flying this next week from Newark to Nashville, first class so I am pretty excited to check it out.
Bluetooth access to the in-flight entertainment system, nicer seats in all classes ,stunning interior mean more comfortable flights and hopefully less air rage. Nicely done UAL
Very Excited First 737 Max8 Flight from Vancouver to Washington DC
Great Aircraft with this Interior and IFE-Bluetooth
Love Unired Airlines Boeing 737 MAX LOOKS AMAZING AND COOL👍😉😯😮😲
United is doing right by passengers. I think Kirby is doing a great job and really bringing United back to the top. Complete opposite of what’s going on over at American Airlines 👀
Interesting to see a major playing catch-up to JetBlue. Besides the first class seats up front, it's all already offered on JetBlue's 321neo. Except UA has less legroom in coach, and seats on a Max are narrower than a 321. The bluetooth is great, but still no free wifi. Happy to see UA making this effort, as AA tries to emulate Spirit with no screens and legroom.
Makes me want to fly United…
Smooth ride from BWI to HOUSTON!! Feels like a Cadillac vs EMB 170/175.
Nice
Is it just me or these economy seats are the same as AA oasis but with IFE screens?
Also if anyone knows the brand/model of the seats i'd like to know. :)
Yes they are the Meridian seats from Rockwell Collins. Southwest, JetBlue and AA use them. AA chose less padding and pitch but a device holder and power on their Meridian Seats. Southwest chose no power and smaller armrest but wider seats and more pitch. JetBlue chose less padding but PTV, power, and more legroom
Cool
Not sure why the thumbnail is an A321 Neo, but nice video

@@SimpleFlyingNews hi
Love it, flew from Fort Lauderdale to Cleveland November 21, 2023, and was so loving it. Better Screens and overhead compartments. Love the lighting in interior switching to blue on descent into Cleveland. Makes mood so nice. Only problem was snacks were not good. Pretzels stale. 😢 however I'm over it. 😂❤
Good Luck to you .....
Nice! Bluetooth option to pair with noise cancelling headphones so that you dont hear screams from people around while MCAS takes on
They definitely did a better job with the interior than AA on the MAX-8. I especially like they have an actual bulk head between F and coach and IFE. AA bet wrong on that.
Next I wanna see United airbus A321 XLR
It will be the same as the max 10 with lie flat seats
great for Microsoft flight simulator 2020
30" for economy is still very generous. Makes for a refreshing change from 28-29". Love the seat back entertainment as well. Very welcome.
I thought United originally had 30”
That's nice. Now just work on the food service or lack thereof. Especially on Hawaii flights with a 5 hr minimum from West Coast. Continental used to serve wonderful lunches from LAX to HNL.
Thanks for this nice air plane ✈️ go to colombia. 😄
I’m an American Airlines loyalist no more! I’m tremendously impressed with United’s decisions recently, including IFE, gender expression, and innovations with boom and electric flight. All while American devolves into the next spirit! Thank you, United
Recently flew American for the first time since 2019. Completely to agree with you on the spirit thing. It feels like a low cost airline but the tickets are still full price. Recently also flew with air Canada rouge and despite them being low cost, I had a better seat experience and service than with American.
I like UA for most part but “gender expression”, you like it being a woke corporation
What’s the song in this video?
But can they garantee Boeing has not forgot a spanner somewhere on a critical system, because of lack of supervision?
Id like to see more wide body aircraft for US domestic flights. 777, 787, a330 maybe a350. United does use a few 777 and 787 on select domestic flights. It'd be nice to see more.
Delta uses the 350
I would definitely fly on a Max 8 with UA when they come to SFO.
I would wish so lol these kind of planes never come to my country
@@Art_borwhere do you live
I think that Bluetooth on the entertainment systems is going to be a game changer.
How safe is the 737 max now?
I wish the entertainment system offered live tv. Perfect for sports fans.
I'll fly on it...I think United purchases over 700 of these re-designed Max 8s, so if we ride United, we will likely be in a Max 8 (or a Max 10)
Seat back entertainment... Welcome to the game United... Delta has been doing it for years....
Not with Bluetooth 😉
My son was just on this plane last night
If I were to fly for a US airline it would be United because they are based in Chicago and I lived in Illinois for 10 years I absolutely love it there
It looks nicer but the leg room space is less than I expected. Does it have the same lighting as the dream liner?
Yep, the boeing sky interior
Ooh
i actually like the max no matter the interior
but it is a big plus
I would take it as long as it doesn't dive down out of the sky
If it's possible united airlines might use this aircraft on transatlantic flights from the east coast of the US to the West coast of Europe
I love the interior onboard the United Airlines 737max 8. I think they should do this on all the 737-800s, 737-900s,737max 9s 767s, 777s and 787s, airbus A319s and A320s. I also think they should retire the boeing 737-700s, 757-200s and 757-300s.
American airlines and southwest airlines allows you to pair your bluetooth to your device, as well...
Southwest? Which doesn't have seatback entertainment screens?
The cockpit windows 🤨 At least Air Canada has done a good paint job to disguise the dated set up, however, why didn’t Boeing make an attempt to streamline the very clunky window arrangement?
i like the windows, they look very classic and 737 like. besides, not painting them costs less
Huh. I just saw this exact United MAX at Seattle 2 weeks ago.
Probably just finished renovations and flying with crew so they can familiarise themselves with the changes?
I think United has recently, in the past 7 months ordered a large amount of narrowbodies both from Airbus and Boeing, and that United is becoming a fan of narrowbodies over widebodies in desicion of their orders. I do not know if this is good or bad, and I guess there's only one way to find out.
A lot of their wide bodies are relatively new, all their 787s and 77Ws are under 10 years old, no need to order any additional aircraft currently in the wide body sector
@@ktjmitchell7722 Well, understandable, but United isn't technically known for short-haul flights, and I feel like United wants more narrowbodies, and narrowbody aircrafts are more known for short haul flight. So this doesn't make sence to me.
The Bluetooth is new to the game, but JetBlue has had all these other features for years........plus Mint.
First + economy plus + economy = 3 classes
the legroom model must have really short legs.
Umm...didn’t United already take delivery of the aircraft? Or was that the 737 MAX 9?
United has the MAX 8, 9, and 10 on order. The MAX 9 was delivered first and the 8 has just started being delivered.
I wonder how many simultaneous Bluetooth users in close proximity can actually work successfully.
A 737 Max? Yeah, I'll find someone flying a 320 Airbus.
Go on then

United violently drags the 737 MAX 8 into the fleet.
like the blue tooth, so can we get channel 9 back now
Overhead storage is incredible. No. More searching for bag space.

Unpopular Opinion; So far airplane was one of the few place where you could do "rehab" from screens. Every flight for me has always been an opportunity to socialize with ppl, look around me take photos etc or just relax and listen to music. I know that many ppl fly constantly( athletes, entrepreneurs and more) and none of these things really get them excited compared to me flying once a quarter or a year for leisure but again. screens in my car, screens in airplanes, on my bed, on my lap, on my desk. Hell that's really bad
No
I just became number 737 of likes
I'm just hopeful that my seat will get overbooked since they don't have enough economy seats and they just upgrade me to premium economy
I am sure they are thrilled with the incredible cabin at Ethiopian and Lion Air.
Too bad that happened yes
Indian Airlines has seat back screens for a long time in even economy class !
It has also been in debt for a few years owning to debtors a few billion USD!
Not one word, that I can recall, about safety. Okay, maybe this video wasn't meant to address safety, but I can assure any airline I fly on, safety comes first. So, how does this aircraft hold up now? What's happened to the AoA sensors and computer flight management systems? Still no triple redundancy? Maybe I should look elsewhere for that information. Cheers!
Max 9 does not currently have these features, what's that mean, it's a cattle-car!?!
Whoopsies
My thought as well. 🤷♂️
The current MAX 9's will be retrofitted and the newly delivered ones will come with the new interior.
United got the Max 9 variant a while before they received the max 8. So of course the cabin is outdated on the max9.
Looks awesome, love the seat back screens, but I would not fly on the max 8 for another 2 years, untill all the glitches are worked out
At least you get to watch your favorite show while going down:)
I don't wanna fly with a Boing MAX!
It’s fine. They are safe to fly. I’ve flown on them 3 times already, quiet and comfortable.
will it stay in the air
yes
That's fantastic, I want to be comfortable when I die.
Way over due
They were definitely behind the curve in ordering new narrow body aircraft but their recent order shows they are out to catch up quickly
Lol yay
“Incredible” I think that is an overstatement! United is just lifting their domestic standards to that other countries have.
Wouldn't agree with that. They are lifting them to compete in the US market for higher value travelers. European carriers do not have great short haul expercinces. Nor do most Asian carriers. It's all about low costs. The US domestic market is entirely different animal since a vast majority of travel is domestic. UA is looking to differentiate from the low fare carriers to command a revenue premium. They are also looking to match DL's revenue premium.
Their hubs are also concentrated in high value markets of SFO, IAH, EWR, ORD, IAD etc.
@@johniii8147 IMO the biggest frustration flying in the US domestically is not being able to fly between capital cities directly.
If I was an airline executive , I wouldn’t be putting my hopes to attract market share or lead the market on the MAX.
American Airlines gotta respond lol.
They won't really have a choice now that UA has followed DL with IFE. It's proving a mistake they dropped it
New ceo is spending that money
I feel like almost 2/3 of this video is about how United has seatback entertainment now. Like one segment after another announcing it like it hadn't just been discussed 😂 Also this whole unveiling is definitely a PR push to try and normalise the MAX fleet as totally not the plane that has crashed twice and killed hundreds already.
And it is exactly the same plane, don't trust Boeing if they say that water is wet.
The more complex, the more money it will require for maintenance and repairs.
Seatback Ife? I must be unlucky because on a 5hr flight from LA to Cleveland there was none
You were not unlucky. This is a new enhancement just rolling out on UA. It should be fleet wide by 2025 as they retire older aircraft and huge new order and retrofitting older they intend on keeping for a while.
hopefully these large new bins would mean basic economy passengers can bring a carry on bag.
You can but you will still be charged for it. That hasn't changed.
