I stumbled onto the Omni Shoreham similiar to the way you did but several years ago. Since then, I stay there everytime I'm in DC. It's beautiful around the holidays, almost magical, they decorate beautifully. Lots of history there, excellent video, thanks for sharing.
I lived in room 331 for 4 months as a contractor in 1989. We remodeled all the bathrooms. I used the cargo elevator for my work. One night I was headed down to my storage to set up for the next day and it was around 11 pm. I had to walk down a hallway to get to my storage. The hair lifted up on the back of my neck and I felt cold. I was so freaked out I never went down there in the evening again. That place is beautiful and some restless energy is in that basement.
I’ve heard some other stories from the hotel that sound very similar. What a trippy place. Thanks for watching.
