Oh man, I love watching Talking Point so much. Been watching every episode since, I can't remember, over a decade ago. Didn't Talking Point start on Channel 5? I remember recording every episode back then as I felt some of the topics would be informative for future generations. This would have been a perfect job for me, working on the research, digging for information, trying to ensure multiple perspectives are covered, etc etc. Too bad I'm probably too old for a career switch now......😂😂😂
I’d really like Talking Point to do a special episode on Vaping among Youths in Singapore. It’s really concerning that many youths are turning to vapes thinking these devices are cool and safe alternatives to cigarettes, despite the ban. Can you also explore what other initiatives the government have in place that are more proactive in effecting the ban, and ensuring people who are in possession of such devices are being held accountable rather than simply letting them off / relying on voluntary disposal of their e-cigarettes?
I love love love Talking Point! It’s so cool that you ask us for the topics we are interested in, and take action on them so quickly. You take us into different worlds and teach us so many practical and helpful insights. Thank you also for letting us step into your personal world and emotions - I think that what makes each episode extra special. So appreciative of all your hard work and creativity. You make Singapore proud! ❤ Thank You CNA and the Talking Point team! 🎉
Thank you for these info-laden and easy to consume content! I hope all the reporters respect the privilege of entering into people's homes and lives and not take it as part of 'entertainment'.
Same, nowadays Channel 8 and even U dramas are getting boring and not popular to watch alr that I would rather focus on current affair shows or even multi-sports events instead
Hi Talking Point, can you do something like ''are fruits really that healthy" or an episode about fish? You should also find out more about school life and the syllabus, CCA, exams etc.
I've tried being visually impaired at Dialogue in the Dark before! would be a great place to film the challenge on experiencing on how it is like to be visually impaired! :))
Same, I also experience the ‘darkness’ at least twice so far during my school trip, although a bit scary at first when you are about to enter the dark but it can be fun also
And we do have the power to act and to make a diffrerence. All governments, including the PAP government, is dependant on the electorate to get elected.
A political party, and a one-party system of government, which welcomes only party loyalists and ‘ye sayers’, and that is hostile to dissenters, cannot attract the best candidates to contribute to the country's political life. The result is the leadership crisis that we face today.
Talking Point is definitely the show I'd watch the minute the episode airs
Thank you Talking Point.. you guys are awesome! ❤ Can’t wait for 2024 episodes to be aired!

And we do have the power to act and to make a diffrerence. All governments, including the PAP government, is dependant on the electorate to get elected.
So as we watch the government determined in its strategy to put down dissenters we have to see it for what it is: a potent political weapon
This is a cause for serious worry. Singaporeans have a right to be worried and they should worry. But they should act.
A political party, and a one-party system of government, which welcomes only party loyalists and ‘ye sayers’, and that is hostile to dissenters, cannot attract the best candidates to contribute to the country's political life. The result is the leadership crisis that we face today.
Omg the testing panel sounds fun but the link seems broken 🫠🫠🫠
