Thank you for the first location, that Eden's Warden is a very nice find. There's also a chest at Bloodwater beach that has Divine Axis and Font of Fire. And a lot of armor could be found nearby, like Horned Helm etc. Funny thing, through the ancient quarry the whole Gransys could be explored at the start of the game, but you can't sleep or deposit your items anywhere but Gassardis or Encampment, so it becomes very annoying by the end of exploration. Vendors are available though, at multiple locations. Sorry for the long comment, but I just spent 5 hours exploring at low level and wanted to share. I think the only location I deliberately missed is the Bluemoon tower, didn't want to go through that windy canyon.
Nice instructional video. These weapons are a godsend for early game. The downside is accessing these places at lower levels can get you killed quickly because of the enemies that lurk around them. Good to know where they are nonetheless.

One chest people seem to forget is outside of Cassardis along the rocks on the coast to the east, It gives me an Iron Shield every time, but I'm not sure if that's guaranteed, regardless, its a great pickup until you get to Gran Soren.
In the same area, there's two chests on some rocks near the encampment, that you get to using the beach, that always have a mace or two hander, and a shoulder cape or hide armor. You can also get two seekers tokens and two moonglow in this area. Super useful at the beginning of the game
The place where you can get Bespoke longbow, also has a chance for a named shortbow and a spellbow called Master's Merle , though Terminal Gyre is a little better. as are the other short and longbows in this place.

Hey Nihil. Could you mention the 2 escort quests to get the Keen Dragon's Wit and the Gryphic Victory? I don't remember when Ser Berne's quest is available, but you have to do Clarus' before you go to the Pawn guild or you miss it. Thank you
I heavily doubt a Dragon's Dogma sequal will ever happen, mainly because it's a self-contained story; you're a Cassardi who is made Arisen, travels to Gran Soren, completes Wyrm Hunt quests, then kills Grigori and thus earns the right to become Seneshcal. There's not much to add besides the neighbouring countries - Hearthstone, Meloire, Voldoa, Liore or maybe even The Mainland (the place holding the Grand Cathedral). Thus I believe it's best to hope for another expansion like DA, as apparently Gransys is on the small side sompared to its neighbours so it'll need a lot of detail. The fast travel system is much better in DA, considering how easily you can get Ferrystones from places like the Black Cat as well as just finding the things more often. Seeing Portcrystals more often would be nice, but I guess they would be hard to balance considering the travel process doesn't take much in-game time. Horses would be a nice addition too, may even add some skills to certain Vocations. Having options in the main quest relating to Salvation - maybe options to act as a double agent of sorts, or even triple if you get Aldous in on it - would add some variety to the main quest, as there are only so many times you can kill a Griffin in the exact same area before it becomes mudane.
@@harryunderwood9387 this doesnt make sense in the slightest... the whole arisen fights the dragon and becomes the senaschal thing isnt self contained at all. It's been a chain that has continued as nauseam since far prior to the in game events of dragons dogma. They tell you this in game. Grigori even states that the king took his bargain which was given to you to sacrifice your loved one. It's an option given to you as an arisen to avoid fate instead of meet it. Then becoming the senaschal you must beat the current one which is an arisen who has ascended in the same way you are now doing. They explain all this in game.
@@carterromanofsky3579 You've just proven my point more than I bothered to do. I was trying to say how each Arisen (barring the ones who were stupid and got killed by a random monster) will always go down 1 of 3 paths; you either accept the Dragon's bargain and wait until some other Arisen kills them, kill the Dragon then lose to the Seneschal and wait to die as the new Dragon, or become the new Seneschal and wait to die yourself by yet another Arisen. There's no escaping that cycle, thus I defined it as a self-contained story - there's no real interaction that enables any Arisen to escape from their own fate and thus continue uninfluenced by the Dragon and Seneschal. Yes there may be an Arisen that journeys more than any other, but their story will end the same way as any other's. Perhaps it would be best to instead call Dragon's Dogma too cyclical to have a proper sequal.

Absoloutly!! This is such a strange game for me because, objectively, I can say, as a critic, that its not that great of a game overall. Yet, I find myself loving it completely none the less. The combat and overall feel of the game is amazing, so is the music and level design. But the main story leaves much to be desires from me. The dragon is the best part, of course, but even he could have been better. It's just lacking in that way. The only reason I dread making a new character is because it requires me to play through most, if not all of, the boring main story... The dlc is pretty much the only reason I even still play this game. Honestly I don't think there's a single other piece of DLC content that has affected my playtime in a series other than Blood and Wine from tehw Witcher III. It's truly that great imo. It's what's kept the game alive. Anywayz rant over. I love your content. Keep these coming :)
Alright, this video rocks man, but I have to ask you something, how important is armor and clothing in this game as far as being defensive? Is it always a good thing to equip what raises defensive stats, or is it just okay to wear whatever looks cool. I am sure it's been said, but your arisens look badass!!! What's the clothing/armor they are wearing? Thanks for all your videos!! Great work!!
The armor numbers are pretty important in damage. Enemies, just like us have to break the defense threshold to do damage. But skill, timing and having i-frames is more important. For me, I always go with looks over numbers. Most of the time it is normal, lower tier armor. I do have dark retexture mods, but this was Assembled breeches, Ebon neck wrap, Bandages, Bandit's mask.
@@Nihil0.0 okay cool, thanks for the response, I think I'm going to stick with what I have, she looks cool enough anyway. Usually clothing and armor is a hot topic of debate between raising defenses and looks.

Phenomenal video. Ya do real mvp New to DD on Switch. Almost out it down, but discovered your channel and can't stop playing. I've looted skme chests but hardly any weapons coinside with the listed loot. Are these fixed types of weapons or variable/re-spawn every 3-7 in game days? Thank you!
I have to apologize for the off-topic question but i was wondering if the inflection augment works as intended or was it never fixed and still causes double damage (instead of half)?Great video as usual btw.:)

Thanks oldsql. No ENBs or graphic mods enabled. I do have the dark retextures mod, which makes many armors black. This was Assembled breeches, Bandit's mask, Bandages and Ebon neck wrap
You can find the Bandit's mask in the Bandit's camp where Maul (the leader) and also where the Bandits are at north of Hillfigure knoll. Both are high chance locations.

@Nihil0.0 hi, i really appreciate your videos man. Btw, did u know there's a trick to get past the closed WayCastle gate w/o Mercedes?
Where did you get the armor your wearing in the video
Would be so awsome if you remade this video now that you talk in videos. And you could show off the weapons to make it different
Song: Dve Nevesti (monkeydonia)
Witcher soundtrack Rivalı Geralt 👑
I love your fashion. What armor parts are you wearing?
The armor is dark retexure modded, but it's Assembled breeches, Bandit's mask, Ebon neck wrap, Bandages, and Black gaiters.
Looking forward to Outward? I think it could possibly be a game you'd sink hrs in like DD
I'm not sure yet. I see mostly Dark Souls influence, which I am not a fan of. I will let it settle in a bit before I give it a try
@@Nihil0.0 I don't see anything dark souls besides the stamina management in it, which a lot of action games are adopting and it has a more focused class system and not so much weapon focus other than damage numbers. The classes are unlocked by finding the trainers
Phenomenal video. Ya do real mvp
New to DD on Switch. Almost out it down, but discovered your channel and can't stop playing.
I've looted skme chests but hardly any weapons coinside with the listed loot. Are these fixed types of weapons or variable/re-spawn every 3-7 in game days?
Thank you!
These chests have 3 to 4 possible items that they spawn and they respawn after some days. Some are 3 days, some are 5 and some are 7 days.
@@Nihil0.0 awesome, thank you for replying!
Goddamn that music is FIRE
Thank you so much.. gotta catch em all!!
This music sounds like something straight out of the Witcher 3
NICE vídeo
I play this fantastic game today 2024 january
dude , love your videos
Thanks Warlock
I know it's been a long time, but can you help me out with where exactly the Thunder Kite Shield is at 4:35?
The old Bluemoon tower used to bethe most popular farming spot before dark arisen
Yep, or Soulflayer canyon. And then BBI came
@@Nihil0.0 good old dragons dogma 😆
Melhor UA-camr♥
Hey! Outro BR aqui!
Where did you get your mask
Great video thanks. But Pleached Limbs isn’t a longbow. ie it isn’t suited to Ranger class.
I have to apologize for the off-topic question but i was wondering if the inflection augment works as intended or was it never fixed and still causes double damage (instead of half)?Great video as usual btw.:)
PC, yes. I have tested it. And supposedly the PS4 and XB1 it works as well.
@@Nihil0.0 Ah thanks! (I'm on PS4)
I just started playing this game for my ps4. Fist off, how do you get skeleton keys and second, I chose the mage vocation at the weapons table, can you use a staff and sword (staff in one hand and sword in the other)? Thanks.
How do you get THAT BLACK GEAR?? Mod?
I LOVE THIS MUSIC
is the opening from wedding crashers?
God damn I hate Leapers Ledge... U can never remember how to get there 😂
I spent about 20min wandering around a completely gutted Canyon the other day looking for the path to that bloody cockatrice! I even saw the thing flapping about, but could I remember how to get there? Of course not.
Hey great video, really helped me on my speedleveling to lvl200 MK, would you tell us wich armor you are using? your Character looks awesome!
Any ENBs or mods aktive? Game looks nice!
Btw, awesome music, thank you!
Thanks oldsql. No ENBs or graphic mods enabled. I do have the dark retextures mod, which makes many armors black. This was Assembled breeches, Bandit's mask, Bandages and Ebon neck wrap
@@Nihil0.0 Ah okay thank you! Game is still great after 7 Years, nice to see actual content for DD
Very helpful. Thanks a lot
Have you done a armor version of this if not do you plan to? Oh and love the music
I have not, and will not. I don't know much about armor locations, only the few that I wear
@@Nihil0.0 Oh I was wondering because I only ever get the gosips mask and I was trying to get bandit
You can find the Bandit's mask in the Bandit's camp where Maul (the leader) and also where the Bandits are at north of Hillfigure knoll. Both are high chance locations.
@@Nihil0.0 Kk thanks is Gicel a good choice for dragons?
It's good for the Drake (fire Dragon) but not very good for others. Comestion is good for frost, Maelstrom and Miasma is good for Grigori and Thunder Dragons. Comestion and holy is good for Cursed dragon, and Holy is good for UR
11.42 - Pleached limbs - shortbow, not longbow :)
Crap. I knew I would mess up somewhere. I was so careful with spelling though, as that's a usual mess up for me.
really makes me think of that old video of mine that i show finding some good early items as my Assassin :)
good stuff as always my brother
Oh yes, Trevor throwing that Gargoyle around like a sack of bricks.
Cool music
Is it possible to get a Longsword early as hell? As in not even level 10. All the ones I saw were too expensive
Sorry last 2 questions: cose I heard that u can find enchanted weapons also from the iron smith after u give him the gold idol, first of all is it true? If yes, for the lightning and ice blade are those better then the ones u can find in the canyon near the bandit fort?
Caxton, the blacksmith will sell them, but they are the same weapon that can be found way earlier, and for free.
Alright thank u!
To be honest, I care more about collecting armor pieces because I like the fashion.
Thank you very much
@1:17. No matter how many times I reload, I get the same weapon. I’m guessing the patched this at some point.
what's the armour you're using?
Dogma in 2019!? Count me in! HARPIES!
Heck yeah Christopher. I can't stop. Haven't since release in 2012.
@@Nihil0.0 I don't blame you!! This game is definitely ahead of its time and aged pretty well.
Those galvanic daggers feel impossible to get been atleast an hour an still nothing lol
is the gear / weapons sometimes random? Meniscus archistaff wasn't there for me; got something else
They are random generated. Usually with 3 possibilities. Just save prior to opening, and retry until it's the desired item.
Believe it or not but i just got the kunai, three tooth warhammer, bespoke longbow, terminal gyre, all in the first run thru of soulflayer! Ridiculous but awesome
The song that starts at 10:23 is idk man it's the beez f-in beez brah.lol,I b playin mk11 straight up chillin killin like muh fookin villain jammin to this kattawallin biatch but I love dat shiz.lol
Whats the best short bow for assasin? Pre bbi
folknery - karchata 🤘
Thank you!
Another one of those videos!?...love you papa nihil
Thanks buddy.
I'm pretty sure that this soundtrack belongs to terminator.
I was surprised i liked the selected music
Jeff Bailey I believe it’s from the same people that composed and performed the Witcher 3 original soundtrack
Do the chest respawn?
All this is exciting, and the most the song from witcher 3 game as u play a this game hahaha XD and well i looted the daggers
Amazing video!
It is good to know that more people play this game up to this date. DD 2 now!
By the way, can somebody give me the name of all of the songs in this video please? Thanks!
It’s in the video’s description.
@@primuladanderfluff7881 not the very first one. Do you know it?
is plaint longbow better than bespoke longbow?
hello Nihil, thx for the video, i was wondering if you could make a tutorial of how to have multiple saves in dragons dogma? i know the save manager in nexus but its too confusing, at least for me
I don't have a recorder capable of recording my desktop, but this guy has a good video on it. It's easy
