Everybody seems to miss the point of this scene- she asks him to lose because she doesn’t know he’s originally a peasant. For her she thinks he’s like Ademar where he’s rich and been winning his whole life. She doesn’t understand he’s only just started winning. She’s not a selfish bitch, this is a very good test to see if he loves her or himself more.

@@heyhey439I believe they're suggesting that Jocelyn's demand for William to jeopardize his career and compromise his loyalty to friends-who rely on his successes for their livelihood-echoes behaviors often seen in narcissists or those with borderline personality disorder tendencies. This implies selfishness, manipulation, and an ego-centric motive. Reducing the criticism to a sarcastic rebuttal, suggesting that calling out this behavior is equivalent to expecting her to be sexually submissive, sidesteps the real issue. It's an oversimplification that some, especially those with toxic feminist views or narrow perspectives, might use to deflect from addressing a woman's problematic actions.
