Wish you were in Arkansas. I've searched for years for a 67-72 k truck. I bought an original 69 k20 custom camper and boy it needs a ton of body work but its still a driver after 55 years and 45 years as a work horse on a farm. It's close to your flatbed. Waiting for my title and it's on! I appreciate your videos. Cab repair is my biggest challenge on floor and rockers but everything else is solid but beat up. Researching for best plan on it. It's got the closed front axle with drum brakes. Don't know if I want to restore original or custom. Love all your trucks and I might add, you're doing a great job on videos!
Good morning from Cape Cod ⚓ you really do some awesome work dude, your attention to detail is what makes the difference. I'm glad you figured out that debacle with the torque converter. Keep up the great work 👍✌️🇺🇲
Your channel was a good find. Good uploadds sir. I'm currently working on 2 LB K10's 68 and 72. Freshing up suspension & engine bay the 72 for a buddy so he can sell it. My 68 is getting 355,th400,205 trans plant.
One little suggestion is that you charge the emblems on the fenders to a 20 instead of 10. The truck has three quarter axles & the frames are the same on half and three quarter so make it an honest three quarter and change the emblems.
Good video!! My advice for buffing, use a polishing pad and polish, don’t use cutting compound and cutting/compound pad, the compound will remove the exposed paint, but polish is not as harsh. I do a 3 step process on my channel if you like to check it out. @ 216 Auto Restoration, thanks for the videos!

Thanks for all the kind words! Sounds like you finally got your hands on a good one. K trucks are
Best!
That's a cool suburban. The amount of lift and wheels you put on your trucks just is the perfect look.👊
Love this channel, Like the vehicles you work on, like the way you treat others and your wife.
Thank you for the kind words and following along

@@GoldCityTrucks you betcha
Keep it going!!!!!!!
Yes
Love your videos, quick question do you know any types of campershells/bedcap that would fit a 72 longbed?
From someone who's had 700R4/4L60's that trans will last longer with an external cooler. 👍🏻
I think you will find out that the single plane doesn't have quite as much low end, as it dual plane
Good job
When is your truck show? I wanna make it up there this year.
July 6th this year!
67-72 only! Happy to have you out if you have one to
Bring out !
@@GoldCityTrucks my 72 and hopefully my buddy with his 67 step side both k10s.
I have a question. How do you detail engine bays for a car show?

There’s some waiting for it in the glovebox!

632 crate let's go
It might take a different flywheel for a 700r4
👍 🇨🇦
👍
I hate the rubber VC gaskets. Cork all the way
Agreed! I do not like the rubber either now after having them fail quickly a few times now.
roadtrip to Spokane and collaborate with Dirthead Shed !!ua-cam.com/users/shortsZ4eykzbdfL4?feature=shared
For something ‘67-72 related I happily would! I only work on these year trucks, nothing else.
