I am OBSESSED with your style! I have used so many of your tips since subscribing a few weeks ago, and you always nail it! I’ve already painted a room black, bought more vases, changed out my pillows, bought new covers for others, purchased the pottery barn faux fur blanket, and made my first trip to ikea 😬. Also, I went golfing with my husband and brought my garden clippers to get a bunch of greenery for said vases- he thinks I’m crazy 🤣! I just wanted to tell you how much you e inspired me and helped me change the whole ambience of my home. I love you and Jack, and I’m a fan forever!!

Valentina, you are so vibrant, enthusiastic, adorable, funny, inspirational and so much more with your videos, you’ve taught me how to style my home the way I want it and changing it up from what I had going on before, even though my home was always beautiful but having you share your knowledge with me has helped me think outside the box, mainly with bringing outside foliage into my home and getting rid of all my fake hydrangeas that I had with the Hamptons style, I’ve now got more neutral tones and black which I absolutely Love so much But I’m not one to change my home every season, it’s not such a thing here in Australia 🇦🇺, I’m so happy having my home the way it is all year round and just change little things like the scents of my candles with the changing seasons, we’re coming into summer months here and I’ll be looking out for some fresh candles soon. Love this video!! Also, If use the long metal tool (that Jack uses to retrieve wick) to actually dip the wick into the wax to extinguish the flame, it’s better than “snuffing” the flame, because it won’t create any smoke! Try it! It really works!
Good point. Inhaling candle smoke and soot isn't healthy. Especially if you are a prolific candle burner. It's best to avoid paraffin candles, but....if using...make sure to ventilate well.

If you like chai tea Nest’s pumpkin chai candle is divine! It’s very heavy on the chai note which makes it a unique pumpkin scent in my opinion.

yes blankets video. trying to shop for dog hair friendly throw that can be washed twice a month and release dog hair .won't look tired after 3 washes.

I love candles so much…I started making my own, so easy to do and you can buy so many beautiful fragrances. I will only use soy wax. I use vintage glass to make them in, which you can find from the charity shop… so unique and so cheap!! Love your videos! 😘 From Queensland, Australia 🇦🇺
My favorite candles are made by the oldest French candle maker, ‘Cire Trudon’. I especially love ‘Solis Rex’, but all of their fragrances are transportive! ‘Mad et Lin has beautiful packaging and their hand forged containers are exquisite but I have found them to burn too quickly. I have appreciated watching the evolution of your channel… congrats on being an ‘influencer’ and continuing to offer inspiring content! Cheers!

Hello beautiful! 😍I always seek out the woodsy candle 🕯 fragrances. The ones that I love the most are teakwood, mahogany and amber. Yes blankets please! Yet another obsession! lol

Beautifully done! The stick that has the wax on it... if you push the wick into the melted wax to "snuff" it out instead of blowing on it or using the actual snuffer, it causes the flame to go out without all the black smoke you get from the other two methods. It's also helpful to pull up the wick if it happens to fall into the melted wax unexpectedly. I love all my candle tools and well worth it if you burn candles often!

Lovely video. A trick I have to share is if you want to get the remaining wax out of the end of a candle put it in the freezer. it pops right out. SO helpful.

It would be helpful in your reviews if you included the candle wax makeup. I notice a lot of what you recommend are paraffin-based. I tend to avoid those candles because they do not burn as cleanly as soy or beeswax. It would really help me to hone in on which of your recommendations I should check out rather than going through each one to see if it's paraffin-based.(Especially since I really like a lot of your recommendations on other things)
I was going to say the same thing! I love love love these reviews, and it would be helpful to know the make up of the wax. I will only burn soy and beeswax candles, otherwise 90% of the time it's essential oil diffusers.
I love burning candles, but I’m allergic to soy, so I burn the other ones, it’s up to me to check out the wax makeup.
@@CPARROWHEAD that is actually another great reason to include that information in the review. It's such a long list of fabulous sounding candles that it would help people focus in on candles that would be right for them.

I highly recommend Maison Marie Louis candles. My favorite is No.04 Bois de Balincourt. It reminds me of Le Labo Santal

I have a Doterra… diffuser which I love . Water bubbles and steam . Pick a oil ,then the magic. Safe and very affordable, mine was a gift. Run it in the morning and after work. Plus it turns off auto. It’s actually very nice. Just another option!

You said AMBER!!! Yay!!! 😀 I’ve been amber for 30+ years and no one except my little sister understands what I’m talking about! I’m amber incense, amber oil, even amber jewelry (the jewelry doesn’t smell but it’s glorious gold and green.). It’s funny, for my recent birthday, my sister gave me more amber oil. I stuck my face to each family member to illustrate its power! And last night while helping my parents in their house, I found a sample perfume I bought in the 90s while on a tour in Nice where I said ‘any with amber?’ and gave out as gifts and this one my mom’s been saving all these years. Oy. Love amber. 💞💐💃

So I have to say this….V you have never steered me wrong. I love everything you and J love. Sooo I bought the Spirituelle amethyst colour rocks and it came with the scent dropper and the small totem. You said it’s your ride or die scent….Well I wanted to love it like you do however …I must be allergic because it makes me stomach sick whenever I smell it! I’m so sad about this but oh well…can’t be helped. I love the vessel sooo much. If you lived closer I’d drop the scent off for you to enjoy! I love your channel so much and I feel like we are friends as you are in my den with me every day almost! Just curious why you never have flowers (even white ones), only greenery?
I have flowers throughout the house also but I like the large statement pieces like the trimmings for the larger spaces.

@@HouseofValentina oh I love those big statement pieces! But I've never seen a flower in the house, or maybe they aren't in the rooms you show in the videos. I pay close attention because I love your style and am learning from it. I just wonder if it's a philosophical approach, or if you just love the green and large branches.
I'd learned from another designer that it looks best to either group 1+ colors of the same flower, like tulips, or different flowers in the same color, like a mix of white flowers.
I have seen vases of flowers in their videos!

Oooo! Love this! Always on the hunt for candles. I gotta say - you must try Vetiver + Moss by Threshold with the crackling wood wick. That candle has an amazing smell and burns FOREVER.

Yes please blankets, not wool, but cashmere is ok. I'm allergic to wool, love super soft blankets

Would you consider doing a video on designing a house when you’re moving? So like my husband and I just bought our first home together (my third) but it’s from a townhome to a single family so we have so many rooms to fill. Maybe a video on what to do first in a new home, what to focus on first, how to make a house cohesive and deciding on how to paint what walls what color as far as contrasting colors and “themes” of colors. I want to do my whole house in black, white, grey and green but I’m overwhelmed on what walls to do black or white and contrasting with cabinet colors and flooring and patterns…ahhh!!! That would be much appreciated 😎
