- In Part 2, Greg shows us the scratch built Lindsay CNR Locomotive Facility. The detail is wonderful including machine shop and inspection pits. Then we see some of the objects Greg has collected from the Lindsay area.
Amazing recount of the era. I grew up just south of the Lindsay area in Newtonville. I find it interesting to see where all the old rail lines ran through the area. This little bit of history explains so much of the old rail beds and why they were there so many years ago. Thanks for that.
Sledtales-Trains Yes indeed it is so interesting to follow the railroad trackbed. So much has changed over time and I like the fact we can relive those days through our modelling
Loved this episode,,, buildings are my passion as all I do are dioramas. The history and memories is amazing. Please tell Greg 'well done indeed'.
bluemtnsman I will pass on your BZ. It is nice to have ones thoughts behind the modelrailroads we see.
Yes ! Design your new layout AROUND your award winner buildings! To my eye your steamers and CN vans are flawless aswell. Too much lineside? complex trackage? tend to distract or takeaway from your awesome models!
The finest model railway I've ever seen, was ever built? Is 'Vale of the white horse' in Pendon, UK. Perfect trains and buildings in just the right amount of trackage, lineside and scenery, you eyes stay to the details, and the realism is eiree. All in a reasonable space, but like you and I, dozens of staging tracks!
Your models deserve the same! Keep up the good work!!
Tony Dee Thanks for your reply and sage advice Tony. I will pass on your kudos and remarks to Greg.
What a great story of your family history, and the railroading involved in it too! Thanks for sharing! :-)
Amazing story. Thanks for sharing.

bodvarland Yes indeed. It makes you want to get out on the road, travel to these places and see what is there. Overtime so much changes.
