Actually in this analogy, God should be the Sun, we get our light from Him. This means that no matter what comes and goes from us, Our light remains constant from God and cannot be taken. I feel lonely not because I don’t enjoy my own company but I desire connection, affection and help. I don’t see anything wrong with being needy towards someone you love and I think it’s natural to feel like a part of you is gone if your spouse leaves because the scriptures teach that the two become one flesh.

If you can’t handle being alone or being by your self then you lack self love and that’s where the feeling of loneliness comes from. I know that feeling because that was me at the start of the year until I really gave my life to Christ and I have never felt like that
