I agree completely, honestly when listening to the execution themes just by themselves without having finished V3 I thought the 3rd theme was Tenko's and I think the idea f just her killing Angie would make it so much more interesting
You perfectly described my feelings toward this chapter. Unlike most of the fanbase, I'm quite a fan of the thirds chapters (I agree that they are bad in many ways, but I'm in love with the last words of Celeste, I really like the dynamics in the hospital before the murder (+ that seems an interesting motive for me) and Korekiyo is my favorite V3 character, I really like how the murder was orchestrate and his breakdown hunt me for a bit of time) However, when I just finished the third chapter of V3, I couldn't help but feel pissed by the missed opportunity. The word of Kiyo toward Himiko ("You probably hate me very, very much. You'd maybe feel better if Monokuma executed me, but he will not. Because if you vote for me, every spotless will die") were very rude and that's sad that they were actually just a lie. Plus, wouldn't it be just horrifying to have to live with a killer? The fear of him killing somebody else, the hate of Himiko toward him, and the awkwardness after the "sister reveal" (I think they really could have done the reveal even without Kiyo being the true blackened). That would just have been so much of opportunities! (+ My favorite character would have survived a bit longer) I had been spoiled before the trial that Kiyo would be the blackened and honestly I wasn't that sad ... I mean, he was my favorite character, but I couldn't really see what he could do more for the plot. He was pretty much worn out. However, after the reveal, I couldn't help but felt pissed of. That's kind of ironic...
I felt the same way you do about two different killers in one trial as I did when Monokuma mentioned that if there was a tie, both people would be executed as long as one of them was the culprit. I was expecting something like that to happen but it never did
>Monokuma: Only the first murderer becomes a Blackened. All other kills after this do not matter. >Maki: *Snaps Kokichi's neck, like a twig.* Finally! I've been holding that in for so long.
yeah. felt like angie's death was killed just because she was annoying and knew people would hate her, which is why i think they focused more on tenko. great video!
I have an idea: In chapter 5, after the trial is over and Kaito dies. I’d switch the perspective from Shuichi to Maki who is injured and feeling guilty. The main idea is that she follows Shuichi because she’s guilty about how she treated him in the trial and wants to make up with him, but Shuichi ignores her. Moments later, Maki finds Korekiyo after he stabbed himself to get rid of his sister who’s controlling him. They both bond and in chapter 6, they comfort each other
0:44 Apparently the reason in the second game why the hiyoko’s murder wasn’t explored a lot was mainly because her and fuyuhiko’s roles got reversed because originally he was going to be the second victim but then got switched to a survivor I hate to break it to you mate but that makes no sense why wouldn’t they execute him simply because the first murder counts but what about the fact that the first murder is dead that changes things up How exactly can you claim the first murder counts if the murderer is dead that creates a huge hole Tanglewood have to be alive at the trial in order for it to count
How do we know the necrobomicon wouldn’t have worked? From the classes perspective every aspect of this is fantastical, they are in a dome in space, held in a killing game by a mechanical bear. I think the real missed opportunity was not bringing Rantaro back, he’s one of the least developed early deaths in the series. Kirumi, Ryoma, and Kaede had all finished their character arcs already. Rantaro is really just a plot device as is and maybe he could have developed with Shuichi before getting murdered in like chapter 5 or something cause he definetly can’t be a survivor after missing a whole chapter Angie had decent logic not bringing back 2 former murderers and someone that actively seemed to want to die.

Whoops, had a slight editing error around 2:45. Meant to take that voice clip out.

If Miu had really killed Kokichi in this way, I would have loved her even more.
I agree. But then she would've been executed. She didn't deserve to die

Well your idea yes is interesting it was technically already being done with maki being the Ultimate Assassin

I think seesaw perfectly represents everything wrong with V3's chapter 3.

Did you finish the game?
@@anotherocto8612 yeah I still find Rantaro severely lacking in personal content and he's more a of a plot device than a person
but what would happened to Korekiyo in chapter 4 if Tenko killed Angie and who would be executed? Tenko's death body?
Yes . Like mikako from dra
It’s fine man
