Anyone have any issues with mowing with industrial tires on the tractor? Tear up the grass at all?

That is a nice way to remove or install the mower deck on that tractor, and I wish my tractor could use one of those. Unfortunately it is not designed for the mowers, but it does have a front loader for lifting the dirt, and other things I use, and can operate the implements I use with my older tractor (John Deere 790).

Thanks for the video. For some reason my deck tilts forward a lot (about 1 1/2"), do you think it's the front racket I need to adjust? I've never had to adjust it, and I don't think it was that bad when I first got it, so I'm not sure where to start. (I haven't used it for a few years)

steps 7 through 29: reverse and forward until the PTO mates.
For the life of me I don't understand why deere doesn't use a beveled flange. it can't be more than pennies per unit to add that bit of metal, or even plastic

This does not show how to disconnect the drive shaft, one needs a spanner, an allen key and to work out how to release the rear universal all of which takes longer than what was shown

It automatically disconnects. I own one not speculation. It works great

THIS IS THE WORST DESIGN JD MADE/ QUOTE BY MY JD MECHANIC/ TIRED OF BUYING REPLACEMENT EVER SEASON /HAVE TO FABRICATE THE FRONT PIVOT BAR HOOKS THAT ARE WORN OUT AFTER 4 YEARS/ SO THE DECK WONT RELEASE WHEN CUTTING GRASS/

This concept is great, but not so great in person. Be prepared with a hammer, earplugs for all the kiddos because you will be swearing like a sailor

Who would have a mower deck on cab tractor I wouldn't

    • @ReverseProof

I would, and do. Nothing like A/C and a radio on a hot humid day. Not to mention air-ride seat, and getting out of the cab as clean as when I got in.

I do too. The cab keeps the dust down and provides some shade. It's also really nice when snow blowing

I guess you enjoy eating dust and grass clippings then. Ill stick with a cab tractor for mowing. My neighbor had a openstation caseih and he called me a sally when he saw me get the cab tractor. But I get the last laugh when im mowing or plowing snow in the winter with my hvac controlled cab and hes either freezing to death in the winter all bundled up like the kid in christmas story or is sweating to death in the middle of summer

Most of the year, I'd rather be out in the air (although I really appreciate my canopy). But right about mid August, the pollen gets crazy and the grass is really dry so the dust flys. Then I wish I was in a cab!!!

I live in Louisiana and August is hot and the grass grows madly. I like the a/c and radio so i don't have dust and heat stroke.
