My R2 using WillowGarage's ROS Robot Operating System

- I've written some software to interface my droid to WillowGarage's ROS Robot Operating System (www.ros.org). So far, this allows me to read the droid's internal state and visualize it using ROS. The next step will be to integrate my face tracking hack into that system.

Nice, I love your droid, and congrats on your work. It's amazing. Are you going to incorporate the Kinec on your droid?
you could write a custom program that talks to ROS... or you could probably build ROS in a cygwin / mingw environment ... ROS doesn't have many drivers on windows however so it ends up being more like a client interface.
@ParkerGibbons I'm not using Windows. It's an Arch Linux installation.

Theoretically, you could. But that would require a privately-owned killing weapon, which is illegal in sane countries.
Is there a way to make it work for windows? Is it wireless command transmission?
How are you using ROS on windows? I had to change my developer computer to Ubuntu to install it and i still can't figure it out.
in america its a law that we ARE aloud to have weapons.
