do you think your x over recovery is too high? I prefer to teach keeping the foot low to the ice and cross in front. Moreover the outside edge could be done with no x over step. make the play extend the turn and switch from outside edge to outside edge of the other foot.
+Sully Sports Ya it absolutely could be to high, sometimes I tend to over exaggerate certain parts of the drill to get my point across. I also teach the outside edge in the manor in which you describe, I find it to be a tad more difficult for some, but will make a video demoing that in the future! Thanks.
