I love Kento as L, but the production shouldnt have changed so many things (L sitting normally, L wearing shoes, slurping that juice thing instead of sweets)
I think they made L drink those juice patches so that the actor wouldn't get diabetes. I think that happened to the original L in the first live-action movies. He would do numerous takes and eat the sweets and in the end became a diabetic. Now that's just a rumor I heard but it would make sense. As for the posture your guess is as good as mine.

they made the 2006 movies close to the manga, however since they'd already adapted a comically accurate version od death note in 2006 they changed it up for this one
