Barrie Cadogan needs to be a permanent member, amazing guitarist .
He's awesome, miss him playing with Scream. Just guessing, but i think It was his decision to leave and Focus on his own Band.
Yep was at secc 2013 , the scream were on fire considering mani just went back to Roses Barry is different class ! He’s got some nice guitars as well as licks ! Shout out to Simone too she’s Quality👍
Primal Scream are without a doubt the best British indie rock band ever.
Electric violin by someone like Mia Asana would fit in really well. She is amazing and ground breaking in the styles of music she plays. It blew me away and like Primal Scream has an amazing vibe.
They just come out left field, blazing a song we dont know. ..and its fire 🔥
This guitarist is insane, really immersed in the performance. The way he was staring beyond, like trying to say something, he not only plays the guitar and sings, but he is also the personification of the songs. Shoot Speed/Kill Light. #PrimalScream2022
😂
I just love Bobby! He's my kind of friend. If I would go out one night with him we wouldn't make it. Remember him reading a newspaper upside down after a festival in Sweden once.
We went to see their show on Tuesday, 5/19/2015, at the TLA on South Street, Philadelphia, and they kicked ass! On Bobby Gillespie's way out to his limo; it was nice that he made the time to wave at his fans, and we took a video of him waving at us for remembrance. This was the first time we've seen their live show, and we are looking forward to seeing more of their live shows in Philly. :)
doesn't get any better. shoot speed/kill light sounds quite powerful live. love xtrmtr, but only til today i was able to really capture the song's intensity. top act.
2017.. and still love this band
One of the coolest bands right now. Love them and the whole vibe!
yeah! they are great on the stage, realy cool trip sounds!
the famous phrase " Bobby Gillespie is God " is the master of all understatements !!!!!!!!!!
PS are like old wine..they just get better and better ...
they rock live always . seen them many times live only time I listen to them
This is the ultimate rock and roll show.
No doubt that this is the greatest band on planet earth !
drummer runs the show
Darrin Mooney! Worked with him before...great drummer...
what a great band
I love primal scream !
Just fuckin' awesomeee!!!!!
sip
Really like this! :)
Just pure British class !!
incredible show thanks for the share :D
love
BASS PLAYER
shoot speed/kill light. BG`s fire, the best version for me.
Genial.....
Fucking excelent show
It's time to kick out the jams
Call it a day 🎉.
Anyone else see the guitar players resemblance to a young Keith Richards?
Yeah! It reminded me of something but I couldnt quite think of what it was until I read this comment.
Barrie Cadogan...did the theme for ´Better Call Saul´.....
shoot speed/kill light definitive version, soulfire x
Love this band because of the vibe on the record. But the live vibe is waaaaaaaay different.
I've seen Primal Scream at their very best Reading Fest I think around 2002, and their very worst Victoria Park in London late 90's (Vanishing Point tour) which was fucking abysmal. Watching this through a decent sound system overseas was great. Mates said the Screamdelica anniversary tour was brilliant too. Not living in the UK anymore I miss this shit. The young guitarist and bass player are sick and although i think he is only a session/ touring drummer he's fucking spot on. Where was this recorded? What venue?
+David Armstrong The Roundhouse, London
Martin is great. Andrew too!
SHOOT SPEED / KILL LIGHT
Bloody Fantastic! ....and they are opening for the Cult????????
Should be the other way around!!!!
I agree. They stole the show that night.
There is a documentary out about them celebrating the Anniversary of Screamdelica which is on You Tube. Worth a watch, but you can see when they are interviewing Robert 'Throb' Young in it he looks like a lost soul. Which is a shame as he was a really good guitarist. However seemed like the "Rob Colins' of the band...
Shoot speed kill light, tuuune
LB makes every band better
watched this loads and its the first time ive noticed that Sim is playing Mani's Glasto bass. I'd not even be good enough to buy Colombo's dog a burger:(
Gillespie é Deus!!!
Is that a very fast bass drum I hear at about 1h 25m?
Can't wait till August at Crystal Palace Bowl supported by Jesus & the Mary Chain 😎🎸 #PrimalScream2023
Mani or Debs would have made this a classic weird gig. Shoot Speed Bob intensity was pure white light. Those fcks didn`t deserve it. Innes,Bobby, Duffy, Darrin are the screamteam for me.

🥳Thank✨You - Bobby Gillespie Is Real Rock✨Star - No Apologies: Sex,Drugs&R'n'R -& While I 💓ALL KindsOf🎵🎶🎵AsLongThey're Move Me&My Soul-&I FEEL IT🥳:. I'm Not Gonna Fight It (pun intended - They've Been Moving Me Since Screamadelica🥳& THAT'S a Long (not so) strange trip (even opening for Depeche Mode - fresh from muscle shoals studios-tube amps & nasty&naughty behavior intact & moved up in the 'mix'🤗
innes doing Hitchcok
Who is that beautiful bassplayer?
Simone Butler.
She really has great feel, drive and really fits in. Her bass groove is great. The sax is great too. What a great band they are. A real joint effort and Bobby Gillespie is a true legend and live theyre at another level. The drummer is a bit like Ginger Baker who made a huge difference to Hawkwind live playing Hammersmith Odeon around 1979 i think it waz.
@@Ian-bq7gp good review sir
I love them but the vocalist should take a breake, sorry. Hard to listen...
That break between ‘I’m Losing More…’ and ‘Loaded’ makes no sense at all, and is stuff like ‘Ivy Ivy Ivy’ or ‘Lone Star Girl’ off-limits now? (Let alone the material from the first album which they could still incorporate into sth presentable.) Then ‘Shoot Speed/Kill Light’ happens too early while they close with sth as relatively banal as ‘Movin’ On Up’ instead of, say, ‘XLRTR’? I mean, thanks a lot for posting this, but damn, if I’d been there I would’ve walked out disappointed. Plus, Bobby should see a vocal coach or sth - he seems to be running out of breath all too often.
Shit man. For a moment I thought you must have been some bigtime famous producer. Then I realised you're just some tosser on UA-cam who's shitty 'cos they didn't play a personalised set for him.
As for Bobby's voice.. Well he must be in his 50's now, so some deterioration is to be expected. Still has a great range, near perfect pitch and that nasal rock'n'roll tone. I'm a classically trained singer and I wouldn't presume to teach Bobby anything about breathing. But you go ahead Mr Expert..
+Ra Batch I’m taking this as a compliment for the good of my
health. Of course I’m just ‘some tosser on UA-cam.’ We’re all ‘some tossers on
UA-cam.’ We’re all Frankies. We’re all lying in Hell. Anyway, I was drunk when
I wrote that. I still love Bobby and the Scream. Relax, man.
+Mac Double lol heres to all of us tossers on youtube enjoying Scream!
+Mac Double #IknowthewholeofPrimalSreamsbackcatalogue You are being overly critical> Primal Scream haven't played both of those tunes for years for good reason. I mean Shoot Speed happens too early?? Are you for real?? At least they didn't play Come Together eh, although you would probably complain it was the wrong version or the gospel choir was a backing track... Jeeeeeez
David Armstrong
My main complaint about Primal Scream is that they don't look the same as back in 1994 :)
