As a trucker , the sp404mk2 is the best portable studio for chillin in the sleeper after haulin shit across north America.

As a new SP 404mk2 owner, this channel has been a GOD SEND
thank you so much !
I have a few questions, I was hoping you may be able to help me with…
1. Saving and storage
- Do you keep banks of samples on the device, or import every time you start a projects?
- is there a way that I can save individual projects, like I can save all samples and loops in a folder and then clean the device to start a fresh one?
Mixdown
- I really love the workflow on this thing, I can’t put it down!
But I guess I have to get used to the idea that I can’t do a dedicated mixdown like I could on a DAW, seems EXTREMELY limited, but I do quite like it.
Gain staging
- do you have any tricks / tips or methods of knowing that your project is as loud as it can be , and any way of being fairly sure that all of your beats will be of a similar volume?
All of these questions are based around the idea of solely using the SP (no computer)
Lot of questions, but hope you don’t mind sharing some wisdom?
