I remember the first time I ever realized there was a Phil! You were still living in the old house and Elysia was making a craft and talking to the camera and all of a sudden the camera kind of jerked and Elysia started laughing and said, "Did you loose your balance?!" and you could hear Phil sheepishly laughing and he said yes. I love the love you two have for each other!
I needed this video. I had to put my sweet little dog down yesterday and I'm so sad, I can hardly stand it. This channel is so caring, I thought this would be a good place to rest for a few munutes.
When our dog died ,I knew she was still around because when I was still in bed in the morning and she wanted to sleep under my bed , she'd shake her collar until I put my arm out and patted her head and then she figured it was okay for her to go under my bed for a snooze...I heard that shaking collar many times after she died and I'd pat the air and it would stop.

I’m old and I went to physical therapy for bladder control. The PT told me I’m not going to tell you what to drink you are an adult and will make your own choice. But she give me a trick to try. A drink sandwich. Take a drink of water, a drink of soda, a drink of water. Helps get you water in and you drink less soda.

I breed Bourbon Red turkeys, too. Love them! We've had our own homegrown turkey for Thanksgiving for the last 6 years. I think you will really enjoy them! I also have horses (Trakehners- a German breed) and miniature cattle. Just dropped off a steer at the processor yesterday. I shed a few tears, but love knowing where our family's meat comes from and that it had a great life. I also enjoy decorating my house. The first video I saw of yours was when you did your copper ceiling. Then I watched your kitchen makeover. I'm hooked on your channel!
Ordinarily I never view a video over 40 minutes. This is the exception. First, I love all your videos. Second, love your family. Third, you are so inspiring. Thank you so much for sharing. I drank 6-8 cans of diet Pepsi or diet Dr. Pepper daily. I stopped but found my self drinking 3-4 pots, yes pots, of coffee a day. Now, I'm trying moderation. 4 cups of coffee a day, a can of diet Pepsi 4-5 days a week and a water with Propel drink mix 3-4 a day. I love the kitchen, loving the pantry, but the entryway is my favorite. When you started the copper, I was sceptical. But it is the most beautiful I've ever seen. . Love to you all, Elysia,Phil, Chase and Dayton. (and all the animals). I'm thinking snake as Dayton's pet. ❤❤❤❤

I have always wondered how youtube channel worked. I'm always interested in learning about anything new. I used to smoke, my one vice. Then I started to get sick forever no matter what it was. One morning I woke up and said to myself As of today I'm a non smoker. I had quit smoking for about a month before anyone realized I hadn't been smoking. It was something I was doing for myself.I understand where you were coming from. It has been over 7yrs since then and now when I get sick I get well quickly. Good old Springbank Park! Lived in London for a couple of years while ex attended Western and started my now almost 49 year career as a nurse & still going. You do have great boys and it’s wonderful they they are excited for post secondary education. I used to like my pop too, but I replaced it with a soda stream and love it. I don’t use the flavours just a bit of lemon juice. My vice is one cup of coffee a day.
I love your channel and I think it’s the authenticity, down to earth, honest approach that is so attractive so please don’t ever change. I too love animals and also love farms, old heritage homes( I live in a circa 1818 log home) and I also do arts and crafts so love Elysia’s creative side. Philip is just so loveable….his kindness, dedication to his family and his sense of humour are precious. My daughter showed strengths in science and math and has her Masters in Marine Biology…we did however lose her to Victoria and the west coast but she’s doing what she loves…., we FaceTime and visit usually 2x a year. I have chickens and a dog and cat and would have loved to live on a farm but married a military man so that wasn’t feasible. Anyways thanks for the updates and a little of who you are…. I too love a cold refreshing Diet Coke and try to limit but sometimes it’s the perfect beverage to a meal. All my best from near Ottawa!

I have always wondered how youtube channel worked. I'm always interested in learning about anything new. I used to smoke, my one vice. Then I started to get sick forever no matter what it was. One morning I woke up and said to myself As of today I'm a non smoker. I had quit smoking for about a month before anyone realized I hadn't been smoking. It was something I was doing for myself.I understand where you were coming from. It has been over 7yrs since then and now when I get sick I get well quickly. I’m 70 now and have two children (should be six)!and three grandchildren. They are the joys of my life. They are all my babies and will be when I’m 138 and they’re in there 80’s😅. I have been watching since back in your first trash to treasure videos and I had already heard your meeting story and seen the photo of you both as kids. I am so over the moon for how far you have come. I was a little skeptical about your whole move until you first pulled into the driveway and I saw this house. I was all in then. The progress you have made in those few years just boggles my mind!

Ok I’m your oldest fan. Literally!! I love everything you do and while I have lots of questions and am curious about everything I respect and appreciate your privacy!!! I trust the things you do!! I have just one opinion I need to share. I have been drinking too much Diet Coke everyday fountain and can for 47 years. I was introduced to it when my last child was 1 year old and I loved it. And I am addicted to it. But like you it’s my only vice!!! I’ve tried to stop. Nothing takes its place!!! If you stop I will have to and I don’t know how I feel about that!!! Love you guys!!!

Good old Springbank Park! Lived in London for a couple of years while ex attended Western and started my now almost 49 year career as a nurse & still going. You do have great boys and it’s wonderful they they are excited for post secondary education. I used to like my pop too, but I replaced it with a soda stream and love it. I don’t use the flavours just a bit of lemon juice. My vice is one cup of coffee a day.
I love your channel and I think it’s the authenticity, down to earth, honest approach that is so attractive so please don’t ever change. I too love animals and also love farms, old heritage homes( I live in a circa 1818 log home) and I also do arts and crafts so love Elysia’s creative side. Philip is just so loveable….his kindness, dedication to his family and his sense of humour are precious. My daughter showed strengths in science and math and has her Masters in Marine Biology…we did however lose her to Victoria and the west coast but she’s doing what she loves…., we FaceTime and visit usually 2x a year. I have chickens and a dog and cat and would have loved to live on a farm but married a military man so that wasn’t feasible.
Anyways thanks for the updates and a little of who you are…. I too love a cold refreshing Diet Coke and try to limit but sometimes it’s the perfect beverage to a meal. All my best from near Ottawa!
