Is it just me or does is seem very fitting to have a plumber fighting a water-based monster at 6:42? Plus, Somari the Adventurer in 3D!
im mean mario does dight a dragon turtle to demons, a final fantasy boss to satan, so water monster would seem ordinary in mario

It's a classic Mario fight though, and modern Mario fought mechanics bowser so I see why they didn't change that boss. I bet it might have been too much work to retexture it into donkey Kong or something

I had originally planned to replace all the bosses and boss stages with Mario themed ones. This didn't get far out of our think tank and the only one replaced was Perfect Chaos being replaced with a Blargg. This was ultimately scrapped to reach out set deadline and other technical issues with the boss fights. Maybe one day the "True" Super Mario Generations will be completed until then there's Sonic Forces.

If more Mario games were made like this, this will effectively kill Sega, and Mario would be supreme overlord in the video game industry

I think Cosmic Mario and Shadow Mario colors need swapping for Cosmic is supposed to be Blue while Shadow is red or black, but aside from that good mod

I like to think that in an alternate universe, This is what Mario is known for. And Sonic would be known for jumping.
Just saying: When Nintendo saw Modern Sonic with the way he was running, immediately decided to make Modern Mario and make his arms out. They copied SEGA! It's obvious that they did. Especially with the trailer in Oddyssey, I think it matched SA's trailer or S06's trailer somehow.

these are just ideas, let me know what you think it should be.
First off the robot from Mario Sunshine is called Mecha Bowser
Also for Perfect Chaos I would see Hisstocrat, Blargg or a beast made an controlled by kamek
And for time eater I would see bowser but remodeled to look a bit like time eater called Bowser Lord of Time
Replace the Death Egg Robot with Donkey Kong and Perfect Chaos with Piranha Plant, and you got a perfect mod right here

The cosmic mario isn't cosmic mario. Just saying, because cosmic mario is the blue sparkly one from galaxy that you race, still good though.
I think they should've tried turning the Death Egg Robot into that Mecha Bowser from Super Mario Sunshine.... or at least made it look as close to it as possible.
