I also want to say thank you, my friend, for making this video. I used it to replace my phone screen just an hour ago. FYI: I had received the new screen but was waiting on the glue that I bought just for this project. Got to the point of putting the new screen in, and chose to use some double sided 1/8" wide tape to hold anything where glue was used in your video. I did this because a few years ago, to repair another cell phone, the directions stated that this special double sided tape was necessary. It was used to hold the screen on the phone body in a Motorola Droid Mini, I think. Saved the 1/16" and 1/8" wide double sided tape I didn't use. Having this on hand, chose to use it in place of the glue, tired of waiting and going without. And it worked well. Thanks again.
Thanks for the video. Had a sim card get stuck in the simslot, and had to disassemble to shimmy it back out. What adhesive do you recommend to re-appky the back cover? Top results on Amazon are T-7000 and B-7000. Obviously, I want something with similar properties to not impact the difficulty of future disassembly.
Can I ask for some advice? I have a OnePlus Nord N20 5G with 6.43 inch AMOLED screen and would like to replace with OnePlus Nord N200 5G 6.49 inch LCD screen. Screen resolution is the same except dimension is 0.06 different. Will this work? Are there any Chinese brand LCD screen that is reliable? Thanks.

If you used a budget TFT/LCD panel (~ $30-$40), I don't think they are compatible with the optical sensor. Pretty sure an OLED panel is required (~ $50-$60). Assuming these aftermarket OLEDs actually take the sensor into account.

Since you're in Nigeria, you just print up a few Cashier's Checks and use them to pay double, triple, even ten times what anyone is asking for what they offer online to sell you. ANd,don't forget to send your friend to pick it up and ask if it's OK to have the Cashier's Check written for a few thousand dollars more that you could be kind enough to get from your bank when you deposit Cashier;'s Check. Cashier's checks, good as gold, right? Nigeria is where that scam was invented. Years ago, the local bank branch of the regional bank I banked with told me that the counterfeit Cashier's Checks are coming from Nigeria. They have already seen them bearing the bank's name, complete with the correct paper and ink, security features, etc They were such perfect counterfeit Cashier's Checks, because they actually were printed at the bank branch in Nigeria. Ten days later, if you are foolish enough to trust a stranger offering to pay you double for what you have for sale provided you accept a Cashier's Check from them, you'll begin to wonder why no one stops them? It gives Nigeria a bad name. I believe the pandemic saw Nigerians defraud Americans tens of billions of dollars from fraudulent claims of pandemic need. I have a pickup truck bed for sale. The first inquiry into the thing was a guy wanting to pay with a Cashier's Check. He wasn't in Nigeria, presumably. Must be a disease of its own?

you likely forgot a screw as well. I did as well (hidden behind a sticker), but as soon as i got it out the plate came off really easily

What kind of glue did you use for the lcd? I have a screen but no glue was provided or suggested
