What is the appeal for these grand entrances with super high ceilings? Who is dusting all the way up there? Do you hire someone or is there a machine that reaches that high? I'm genuinely curious.
Many of those items on their wish list were luxuries NOT necessities🥴 “That pool was exactly what we were looking for”… heck, I thought they were looking for a house😂Agent had the patience of a Saint❤️
As several people have pointed out, at least two of these 'kids' look to be close to grown (the one boy had a beard) and therefor pretty close to moving out. If you've managed to raise your kids in a smaller space/less bathrooms, there's no reason to look for a big house when it's time for them to leave home. As parents we can forget that the kids grow up and leave. And there's nothing wrong with kids sharing a room. I shared a room growing up. It was no hardship. And we all shared 1 bathroom. As to the pool, I understand the allure. But I had a pool when I was a teenager. The first year we used it all the time. The second year we used it a lot. By the third year we rarely used it and by the fourth year we fought constantly as to whose time it was to clean the damn thing out. Pools are a lot of worry/work and always seem like they're so much fun until you have one and you realize that they're really so much work and upkeep.
Why is everyone freaking out about the amount of bedrooms?! If they wanted; they could always make two of the smaller rooms combined down the road. One could definitely be used as a guest room if older kids move away but come for holidays.
We used to have 7 people with one bathroom and it only had one shower, my Mom used a wringer washer and clothes line, 3 bedrooms etc I guess it made us closer as a family (1960’s in Valley of the Hearts delight - now sadly known as Silicon Valley..)

OK, so let me get this straight.....They want a move in ready five bedroom three bathroom house, plus a music room and a study that has a large yard with a pool that has large rooms, lots of storage, charm and character, lots of light and windows, all the bells and whistles and their budget is a dollar. Girl, you can have an empty cardboard box with cheese stains.
How many times did they say ‘we have a big family’ Bullshit, 4 kids is not a big family! Never seen such an unrealistic couple, obviously ignorant to what their budget can give them. There is nothing wrong with kids working out bathroom time, someone can always use the en-suite bathroom if really rushed? First time an episode has annoyed me, pathetic, whining people
I’m a 2-hour drive from there on the West Coast and my Pool is the Ocean😂😂😂But, seriously during the Summer it can get in the Triple digit temps and I would need the Pool, otherwise I would live in the Coast.
ok, timing might be right but when you don't have over $400 grand how do you expect to have a pool, 2 to 3 bathrooms , office and 5 bedrooms?. seriously? there is a reason you are renting. I would definitely make a poor agent. I would tell them "go back home and save some money" or let something go or maybe you shouldn't have had so many kids. yep, I would not last long.looks like one of the boys should be leaving pretty soon.
Prospective buyers should be open to compromise - especially with a first home - realize that small changes can make a place more to their liking. Don't expect perfection...home ownership requires doing changes slowly to make it their own.
She is so annoying. They are both annoying. They have so much stuff on their list, but they don't have that much money to get everything on their list. Also 5 bedrooms? Every heard of sharing rooms? And they can share a bathroom, might me small, but they can deal with it
They've been renting so long that they can't even conceive of picking up a paintbrush, or calling in a painter. Have never seen buyers so unable to see past easy cosmetic changes. At first I thought she was kidding about needing a white kitchen.
This realtor he's so great he has so much patience he's found her things she wants but still she's not satisfied wow sometimes I fill sorry for the realtor and husbands some of those kids can get jobs. Helpdad
I have the same taste in homes that they have I want a big house with a pool large island in the kitchen open floor plan so I need the living room from the kitchen 6 or 7 bedrooms and 4 to 5 bathroom and a garage , white kitchen , high ceilings
I believe they picked a house before ever seeing the others shown in the episode, plus were told what to say to make the show interesting. Just about every show is staged.
7500 for them to build a pool yeah right Mr. realtor more like 75,000 for a teeny pool more realistically 4 a normal size pool. More like 175 Unless they do a nice above ground and that’s fine
We are a family of 5 who have always shared 1 bathroom. Fortunately none of us have died🤣. Give me strength, first world problems, some people can't even afford to eat🤦...

Well, I liked this couple. I dont know why so many harsh comments about their unrealistic expectations.Who doesnt want maximum things for their limited budget?. I say congrats to them for working hard, saving up, and finally going after their dream home. They'll do so much better in the long run by owning, not renting.
Champagne taste on a beer budget. They were totally unrealistic. The agent was fab. Poor little man having to paint a wall! This couple really annoyed me. House 3 was the best solution for their needs and the only one they could afford. A pool is not a necessity.
Mine would be to keep renting, him getting a real job, & move the older kids out & on their own. My guess from these two idiots is that they will allow those older kids to remain at home & living off of them. These two "so called" adults need to get a clue.
She obviously got willed some money and thinks it’s like a million dollars ….in California you are lucky to get a shack with that budget yet they want it all….. they need like triple that budget
