Thank you so much! But personally I don’t call it analysis, because my reflections won’t go too much in the depth. It’s more or less a matter of hearts, because I love these scenes so much. 😉

Love that they added the sound of the brake pull. This is a fun sequence… especially the fez. 😊

This is sweet. I like your point that calling Crowley "demon" would be hurtful. I think he does use Angel as a term of endearment to an extent as well. I think he whistles planning to say something and then chickens out with the Gabriel thing.

But Aziraphale does call him a demon and tells Crowley that he is evil. Aziraphale does say he forgives him, but I don't think he has fully forgiven Crowley from falling from heaven. Aziraphale is so kind and it's unusual that he can't completely forgive. I hope he will learn how.

@@StubbyandShifu Thanks for your comment. I think, Aziraphale is in the dilemma that he loves Crowley and on the other hand has to keep the distance because angels and demons are heraldic enemies. But he’s allowed to say ‘I forgive you‘ and it’s his way to say I‘m sorry, but I have to react this way. He‘s so much caught in his ancestry. That’s why he calls Crowley a demon, but never addresses him so instead of his name. And from the bottom of his heart, he has forgiven Crowley a long time ago, but he still needs time to admit it.

@@StubbyandShifu he doesn't call him a demon as a name though, only to make a point, it's a totally different use of the word.
I think what we don't know fully is their relationship as angels, if they were maybe quite close and he felt betrayed at the time, but Crowley forgets.

I agree with @@StubbyandShifu here. I actually think Aziraphale has never really accepted that Crowley is a demon and has not forgiven him. It just doesn't fit into his black-and-white thinking. He may have accepted that Crowley is technically a demon, but I think he sincerely believes that, at heart, Crowley is still an angel, and, more importantly, even wants to be an angel. So he really thought he would be doing Crowley a big favour in appointing him to be an angel again. He could have said something like "I want you to work with me, because I need you and I trust you, but unfortunately that means you would have to be an angel again". But he is totally surprised by Crowleys rejection of the offer and does not understand it at all. So the reason why Aziraphale never calls him a Demon, unless he wants to make some point, is rather that he does not like to be reminded of it himself. This is my opinion, anyway. And I hope that this will be part of Aziraphales character arc in season 3, that he can finally accept Crowley for what he is.
Crowley, on the other hand, loves and admires that Aziraphale is an angel (it also drives him crazy at times). I think when he fist startet calling him "Angel" it was slightly mockingly, slightly testing, or just stating the obvious. But it became a habit because that is how Crowley sees him, although he might not be aware of it (at least until "He's just an angel I know"). To him, Aziraphale is the only true angel.

Hi. My first thought about the "smitten" scene was actually the you know who reference...from Harry Potters Voldemort.😅 because David also had a small role in the 4th Harry Potter movie as a death eater.
David Tennant is such a beautiful man...they both are!😍

@@Miriam-eb2iu As far as I know, it doesn’t have a reference. And yes, both are very attraktiv actors with a lot of chemistry between them. 👼😎

what baffles me is that kind of burp Crowley does when he says to Nina "...an Angel IIIII know...." what could be the meaning of that? Is he admiting what?

Seems to me as if Crowley's (or David's?) breath gets lost a bit. But that could be one of the very rare accidents of the show. If planned, I don't see the reason.
