JOOLZ AER vs. UPPABABY MINU V2
The Joolz Aer is ideal for travel! Weighing only 13.4 pounds, the Aer has many convenient features such as a one-handed fold, adjustable seat, and accessible storage space.
Travel and storage is effortless thanks to the quick, one-handed fold and automatic frame lock, and an elastic carry strap is ready so you can carry over your shoulder on the go. It's compact enough to fit in the overhead bin of most airlines or in the trunk of the smallest cars, but with a generous stroller seat and accessible storage basket underneath, plus a storage pocket for parents at the seat back.
Joolz' patent pending seat for the Aer provides exceptional support to your child’s neck and back whether seated upright or fully recline, thanks to plush seat padding. The seat includes an extended seat back, five-point safety harness buckle, and an adjustable recline to keep your child comfortable from 6 months of age and beyond! An extendable canopy provides UPF 50+ sun protection and allows airflow with ventilation panels.
Four sophisticated fashions are available, and a rain cover and travel bag are included with purchase to ensure the Joolz Aer is ready for all of your family's adventures.
At just 16.9 pounds, the UPPAbaby MINU V2 brings high-quality features seen on much larger strollers to its compact design. Features like all-wheel suspension, compatibility with an infant car seat, bassinet, or Piggyback board, and more make the MINU V2 a top choice for daily use and travel.
The MINU V2 can be folded with just one step and one hand, and is even easier to fold and unfold than before with an updated spring loaded folding lock that keeps everything where it needs to be.
Many changes for the MINU V2 are found in the stroller seat itself, including a no-rethread harness, zip out canopy for structured shading, an adjustable calf support, and included leather bumper bar.

That was an absolutely fantastic comparison between the two strollers. Great camera angles and demonstrations on open and closing mechanisms, much appreciated.

The Joolz aer plus website has conflicting info regarding car seat compatibility. On their car seat compatibility chart it doesn’t have the nuna as compatible but when you go to add the car seat adapters it says nuna is compatible. Can you confirm this? I’ve reached out to them and no clarification

Are either of these better for a very tall toddler?

Great question! Both are about the same in seat-to-canopy height, the only thing is that the Aer will have the seat back and canopy almost connected, whereas the Minu V2 seat back will not go quite as tall as the canopy, so there will be a gap in between. If your child wants their head to be able to lay back in the seat longer once they are taller the Aer might work best!
