I can't wait for Kev to (rightly) be in full smug mode next season when he has a star studded Arsenal team challenging for the title while Peterborough are a mess near the bottom of the league.
@@arbitrary_mike7833 Yes, but he was never going to be able to bring in players like that regen Rui Camara at Peterborough in the next few seasons. This is why even though this season is a write off I honestly think by the end of the summer transfer window he will be in a significantly stronger position at Arsenal with a much stronger squad than what he would have had at Posh at the end of this upcoming window. Which is why despite the table positions this was never the step down people made it out to be. The financial resources, particularly in terms of wages, are so much larger at Arsenal than at Posh, which allows him to sign much better players who are going to demand 150 - 200k per week.

This game will teach you more about "soccer" than most of the old blokes with a season ticket to their local team tbf. Be aware, you will become addicted 😂
Derby fan, gutted delap got poached from us before playing a game. In other news, he scored 50+ goals in one season for me at hamburger sv aged 21. Crazy good on this year's FM 👌
Wait if those sort of teams have been knocked out the champions League who the heck qualified to the knockouts of the champions League I feel we need to see that Also would be great to see what's happened to Kettering and players like Slavi spasov
AI transfers and squad selection is bizarre sometimes. Peterborough have a 20 year old wonderkid striker who has 20 goals this season in February and they drop him for a past it 34 year old.
Delap was absolute toilet on my save, he kept getting bought for massive money think he finished with like 600mil total career transfer fees and only a handful of goals
Some tips for pronouncing the Portuguese/Brazilian names: There's an o in João, it's not just "Jao"... I'm not even gonna get on the nasal sound thing about the ã, that's just hell for foreigners The ç in Gonçalves has an s sound instead of c/k. And the á thing in Camará means that's the strongest syllable in his name and should be the one highlighted. Have fun trying to pronounce those correctly!!!

If the penalty taker hits the post. He is not allowed to touch the ball afterwards, before someone else touch it. if he do anyway the other team will get a free kick.
Okay you've turned it around that's good and managed to get some talent in ( thank goodness for the amount of money haha ) long way to go before I eat my words though
Still not sure if all the Arsenal-move-naysayers are clueless plonkers or simply don't understand how straightforward this game is. Perhaps it's both. Either way it was obviously a smart move, Kev. FM is 80% about recruitment. Recruitment is about budgets, scouting reach, and reputation - all of which are much better at Arsenal than at Posh.
@@arbitrary_mike7833 You may well be right, but that's entirely subjective. Objectively moving to Arsenal was an upgrade in almost every facet. Many people (not saying you personally) have complained that it's not a realistic or correct move.
@@bradwhiteuk ofcourse it is not realistic leaving your favorite club on title race for relegation battle team in MIDDLE of the season, absolute joke. Just shows mercenary Kev side. Give me some examples of that happening in real life "realistic" yeah sure.
@@flegmast3286 Posh were overperforming with a team of young players against the typically awful AI mismanagement. This is the story for every decently-managed player-controlled team. It was the same at Kettering. It will be the same at Arsenal. It will be the same at the next club he's at (if he moves again). It'll be the same until SI make the game more challenging. This is an unrealistically easy game. The whole game is riddled with unrealism. If you're going to suggest Kev shouldn't move cos it's "unrealistic", then you could equally suggest that he shouldn't be playing a fundamentally unrealistic game at all. You cannot base your entire argument on realism, especially when you consider this point: Would you, IRL, jump ship to a rival company offering you basically the same job but with significantly more support, better benefits, better infrastructure, better prospects, and 4X THE SALARY? Yes, you would. Anyone with their head screwed on straight would. Bad argument though it is, let's consider the idea that managers don't jump ship mid-season. There are actually several examples of managers switching teams just in England, just in the Prem-era, but the best parallel would be Harry Redknapp moving from top-half, FA-Cup winners Portsmouth to bottom-of-the-table Spurs in 2008. Why do you think he did that? Was THAT unrealistic? Anyway It's really really simple. Kev moved because Arsenal are a better club and the Arsenal job was better than the Posh one. This is because Arsenal have better: Wage budget, transfer budget, reputation, staff, scouting reach, personal contract wage increase (huge pay rise), facilities, future financial projection, playing staff, youth system etc.....I could go on. You (and others like you) think Kev should have stayed at Posh because: It's his favourite club, superior league position at time of the move. Anything else? Lets examine those two points: 1. Posh being his favourite club is basically irrelevant when he is offered a 4x wage increase, let alone all the other improvements and benefits the Arsenal job offers over Posh. Watch Kev's rules-of-the-save video if you're confused about this. 2. Posh being 3rd, and Arsenal being 2nd bottom at time of move is not a situation that will remain. A club's league position is SIGNIFICANTLY easier to change than it's budgets, reputation, staff, scouting reach, facilities, etc..... (see list above). This is not a road to glory save. Kev does one of those, so perhaps watch that if you're going to get annoyed when he makes the unforgivable "mercenary" move of switching clubs.
I dont understand why Kev send them on rest, when he can just put in recovery in the training plan and have better result with that. Or he just never paid any attention since CM to the changes in the training system.

Heres the problem... are transfers done in installments in real life? Yes... however in real life it doesn't take next to nothing off of your budget and in real life teams don't get cash injections from chairmen end of every season to cover for them. Also the AI accept paying for everything upfront which means u can abuse the whole system and spend triple your budget . This is what makes the whole transfer system too easy to manipulate, it is FMs coding fault but the player has the opportunity whether to choose to abuse it or not and kev absolute chooses to do this time and time again
It doesn't even take 1 transfer window for the AI to wreck the player's work anymore. I walked from RBL yesterday, and the AI manager put Germany's best midfielder and goalkeeper on the bench for old men, and turned my 5* LWB into a 3.5* DM. :/
