Funnily, list of Pokemon by shapes was the way to find your pokemon in the First games. There where like 11 Sprites, each sprite to classify one type or shape. But most were "Kangashan/Nidoking"-looking animal

And then turned out becoming a human was the only way to defeat the greatest evil, so... All in all, it turned out pretty well, I would say.

My cannon for a ghost eve is that the Evee has to die during evolution to evolve into a ghost type. I had this idea for a eevee that shot itself in the head with a ditto during mod evolution and is a suicidal ghost that possesses Pokemon and people and starts trying to kill its host hoping that it will kill it too but it always results in the host passing out or rarely dieing and the ghost eevee getting booted from the body.

Two: I bothered looking into specifically fallen angels and the only specific example I can find is Satan, not to be confused with Lucifer (who basically doesn't exist) or the Devil (which is technically a separate but related concept). Many Demons exist but go unnamed; their existence is repeatedly referenced but rarely elaborated upon.
All others appear to be non-canonical. Such as the Ars Goetia and Dante's Inferno, neither of which have theological precedent.
The subject gets buried in misapplied metaphors and odd interpretations, which results in the hypocritical public perception of the concept they're talking about.

We are cursed to sin, and the wages of sin is death, so the only way to repay it is by dying. The fact of the matter is that there is no way for us to repay it and that's the bad part of the story. But that's okay because of what Jesus did for us. He came down to earth as fully God and fully man and lived the perfect life without sin, something we could not do. This was a great injustice, and so He rose and defeated death, and opened to us the door to salvation and righteousness! I think Romans 5:6-8 summarizes it pretty well: "You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." This is the good part of the story, and together the good and bad make the Gospel (which is derived from Greek word for Good News). That's why it's important to have both parts of the narrative. Without the bad part, the good part doesn't have any meaning or power behind it; and without the good part, we're just left with a bleak story without hope. Christianity's view on sin looks hopeless (as the post indicates) but only until the full Gospel is taken into account.

8:40 Had the unfortunate experience with a book series I read half of recently. My mom was convinced I'd like it - she said I read it as a kid, liked it (it was adult level fiction, or at least YA), and she'd discovered it had sequels. (She'd liked it too.) I didn't remember it AT ALL, so tried reading the four book series. I had to pretty much force myself through some of it because I LOVEDD the worldbuilding and the culture and the magic that went from subtly hinted to obvious only for a select crowd - but the main character for book 1 was awful, felt so Mary Sue it hurt. Book 2 was better, though it focused a lot on romance which isn't my thing. I couldn't get more than a couple chapters into book 3 before hitting my limit and stopping because of the BRAT of a main character.
What was the series? But I feel your pain, we've all wept at good concepts gone to waste

YES. This is terrible when it happens and I hate it.
I started reading a book series and I really liked it. I really Loved the worldbuilding and such, but as I got through the books I started liking the main character less and less. I felt like she was a sort of Mary Sue. Something else I didn't like is how the romance was handled. The thing is, I DO like romance. But that is when it's well developed and between characters I like and I like TOGETHER. The main character got together with like three love interests, one after the other. I'm pretty sure that she stays with the last one until the end, but I wouldn't know because I didn't finish it. Also, the second one is my favourite and I feel like she did him dirty with how and why she broke up with him. I liked her and the third one better as friends.
There was a side plot in a later book with a different batch of characters that I loved and I ended up skipping ahead just to read about them. I found that I stopped caring after they met up and fused with the main group.
I dropped the series. My father (who also read the books) finished it. I want to ask his opinions on it someday.
