I love that they let Ella and Cynthia be young and act young. Like minimal make up and amazing casual and age-appropriate outfits. It was super real and laid back. I love that they sought therapy for their childhood trauma. Therapy is supper important and our society will definitely be a better place id more of us sought it. Love is not therapy.

The part that got me emotional 😭 was when she mentioned that the brother warned her sister & herself to stop stealing but yet he himself couldn’t stop. I love Ella’s most conversation over the phone with Mide too, it reminded me of myself when I used to be in love.❤

Thank you aunty Omoni for this piece. It is a beautiful movie, with wonderful characters/cast, peculiar characterisation, and an intriguing plot. I hope that in the sequel, Seb doesn't die, Angel doesn't resurface with drama, and that Michael doesn't come into the picture if Mide goes off the track with Angel.
I loved the movie, just that the setting (time) ran over a period of months, yet, Ella's sister, Cynthia, had on same hair till the end.
Please, it is high time our movie crew considered that. Let the characters have a change of hair since they are no animation. The actresses can use a hair or make simple hairstyle that can be undone and remade within the course of the shoots/shooting.
I've seen movies where the story spanned over years and the female characters had on one hairstyle and nails all through then. Mbanu na.
