It is always an absolute thrill to watch The Jazz Avengers!!! They have the whole package: The beauty, talent, musicianship, musicality, showmanship, energy, enthusiasm and miles and miles of beautiful smiles. WOW!!!
Chizuru can sure cut the mustard, as it were, and all the other ladies as well. World class musicians with Ami and all the other horn players being top flight. Juna is simply a phenomenal bass player, her work with Muse and their rendition of Spain proved that. Marie is sometimes left to do keyboard rhythm but her fills and solos show she is no slacker either. Anyone telling me Jazz is dead gets a referral to these ladies. Funk jazz fusion, you name it... They can play it. And this tune proves it

I'm guessing that this was said in a light-hearted manner, and that you know that Steve Gadd and Senri are not competing or trying to out do each other - they'e more like "the mutual admiration society" - which is pretty evident whenever they appear together. Slightly off-topic observation: it sounds to me like Senri's drum soloing on "All This Love" from her Buena Vista album was a tribute to Steve Gadd's famous soloing on "Aja". Anyone else hear it that way?

麻里絵さんはジェフローバーのような流麗なプレイを何食わぬ顔で余裕に弾いてるのが凄すぎる。
皆うますぎて一人一人賞賛したいが、とにかく美しい8人が仲良く楽しそうなのが観ていて幸せになります！
