OK with JJ getting the job, it’s definitely weird that LeBron drafted his son. It put his son in the strangest position, and I think it will end up not helping him in the long run.

Exactly. The argument of him taking someone’s spot that’s better than him is legitimate. Also getting paid when you already have money, taking that opportunity away from someone else who doesn’t have money. But ultimately, LeBron is setting up his son to get embarrassed. They’re going to have to run heavy zone to try and hide how he’d get absolutely destroyed 1 on 1. And if he has very low percentage shooting because people will lock him tf down, he’s going to be embarrassed for the rest of his life. Not only that but his heart condition. Both were delusional decisions that defy any and all rational sense. LeBron is (consciously or not) setting up his own son to suffer from it the most, followed closely by the player(s) denied a rotation spot because of it...smh. JJ's laughing to the bank and doesn't give an F when they fire him; preferably sooner than later (!).

You really hung with Lebron longer than I did. I can't stand the guy. I once heard an interview when this person was saying she witnessed Lebron drop a towel on the floor instead of handing it to the towel guy, because he gets off on feeling superior to other people. That's exactly it. Lebron is insecure to an extreme degree, and it leads to all the antics that you're talking about. I can't blame him for feeling the insecurity; I'm sure most everyone has things they are insecure about. No, the problem with Lebron is that he's a jerk, period full stop. He's dishonest, throws teammates under the bus, gets coaches fired, and has made a career blaming everyone but himself whenever something goes wrong. It's disgusting behavior.

Is it possible that nobody in the media realises how stupid the league would look if the Lakers never hung in-season tournament banner? Specially considering it was the first one ever? I don't disagree with the premise, in-season tournament means nothing when compared to all the championships Lakers won, but I am sure Adam Silver would be much more pissed than he was after the all-stars game if they didn't hung the banner.

Usually those people , who use that metric to judge others, typically lack those same ethics themselves. And as far as Rob Polinka is concerned , he and the Lakers front office is in fact incompetent. I didnt need anyone to tell me that. Ive known it since going back before Lebron was even brought on. Its just the Lakers have a storied name that in the past allowed them to attract big names. But no longer. Its a different NBA now, even team owners like the celtics' owener are paying exorbitant amounts to keep their players, while at the same time putting their team up for sale. Oh and by the way Luka spent the entire finals crying about his role players and teammates, so it's not just the Lakers who exclusively blame other players than their team leaders.
